The reception staff greeted me with warm smiles and provided all the necessary information about the hotel's facilities and services. The bed was incredibly comfortable, The amenities provided in the room were of high quality and added a touch of luxury to my stay. The gym was also well-equipped, allowing me to keep up with my fitness routine during my stay, but some equipment has broken and not repair until I left the Island. I really have a fantastic experience at Kurumba Maldives.

Honestly, this wasn't what I expected. For the high price, you're better off choosing a resort that actually feels worth it. It’s advertised as all-inclusive, but that only applies to one restaurant—which was okay, but definitely not amazing. For the others, you still have to pay 50%, and their prices are extremely high. Every little add-on costs extra.
The speedboat transfer is $114 per person for a ride that’s barely 10 minutes—many other resorts offer this for free. The deluxe villa was spacious and clean, and the island itself is well-maintained, but that’s about it.
Some staff were very kind, but checkout was uncomfortable. At 6 a.m., they were already ringing up the bill and repeatedly sending people to our villa, which felt intrusive and unnecessary.
I wouldn’t return. After two days, there wasn’t much to do, and the evenings were especially dull. I really wish I had chosen a different resort.

where do I start?
A honeymoon that we were so excited with really turned into something not so great. I purchased the all-inclusive package which includes snacks. However, all inclusive is not all inclusive and the snacks situation, well everyday was a battle. The first 2-3 days were no snacks. The next day we were able to get a snack each and only at the pool area and no where else. When they say all inclusive you only have one option to the daily buffett Area and not the other restaurants unless you want to pay out of pocket.
Can you imagine having to deal with this issue every day with management!? While being on your honeymoon!? Gosh. It was such a daily hassle, by day 3 I wanted out of there! I I was so unhappy the entire week. I do have to say when we checked out we were greeted by probably one of the nicest warmest person, and that's about it. I would not come back, but rather book another resort.

Needs a full renovation very outdated. We stayed 1 night before going to the ritz Carlton, I know this is a different level of hotel but it’s the first hotel in the Maldives so it’s outdated. Bathroom smelled of urine

The property looked very nice, but I found out that amenities weren't replaced and used q-tips were in the amenity box. Water was leaking from the bath tab. Phone in my room didn't work and I needed to ask to replace it. Lounge was not airconditioned, so it was like a sauna.

Nice island resort. Some of the rooms are a bit dated, but does have a nice tropical vibe. Good dining options but super expensive. Staff is super friendly, though sometimes service at the main beach grill or even in the restaurants seem to take forever. We waited 40 minutes in the seafood restaurant to be tended to and that’s after being seated.

It was a great place to be as I prefer the quiet and tranquility which the resort provided. The natural vegetation and beautiful orchid garden was a highlight. There are activities for everyone on the resort. I would recommend this place to family and friends who would like to take time out to relax and spend quality time with each other.

The place was very pleasant . Staff are friendly and always extend a chance to make experience better . But you should plan and book ahead , before arriving , some of the experience because they are filled fast . Beautiful views , can’t be the only 15 minutes to the Island straight from Airport .

We had an exceptional stay at Kurumba! It was our first time in the Maldives, and the hotel was only a 10 minutes boat ride from the airport. The room was excellent, spacious and clean, with direct beach access. The bathroom was large and had an outdoor shower area. The Kurumba staff went above and beyond to ensure we had fantastic stay. For example they decorated the room for our honeymoon and on my wife's birthday they brought her a cake. The breakfast was excellent, and there's a lot of food choices, our favorite restaurant was Thila. Overall we had a memorable stay.

Gorgeous resort conveniently located by the airport but separated by an ocean. The beach and water we gorevous. Lovely snorkeling options. The theme restaurants had super high quality food for dinners but make a reservation early or you’ll miss out. Great spots for photos and relaxing. This resort has it all.

Kurumba was a wonderful place for us to stay in the Maldives that was close to the airport but at the same time felt a world away. The snorkeling, spa, gardens, beaches and food were all wonderful. Anna was a huge help to us and so gracious.

Honestly, this wasn't what I expected. For the high price, you're better off choosing a resort that actually feels worth it. It’s advertised as all-inclusive, but that only applies to one restaurant—which was okay, but definitely not amazing. For the others, you still have to pay 50%, and their prices are extremely high. Every little add-on costs extra.
The speedboat transfer is $114 per person for a ride that’s barely 10 minutes—many other resorts offer this for free. The deluxe villa was spacious and clean, and the island itself is well-maintained, but that’s about it.
Some staff were very kind, but checkout was uncomfortable. At 6 a.m., they were already ringing up the bill and repeatedly sending people to our villa, which felt intrusive and unnecessary.
I wouldn’t return. After two days, there wasn’t much to do, and the evenings were especially dull. I really wish I had chosen a different resort.

where do I start?
A honeymoon that we were so excited with really turned into something not so great. I purchased the all-inclusive package which includes snacks. However, all inclusive is not all inclusive and the snacks situation, well everyday was a battle. The first 2-3 days were no snacks. The next day we were able to get a snack each and only at the pool area and no where else. When they say all inclusive you only have one option to the daily buffett Area and not the other restaurants unless you want to pay out of pocket.
Can you imagine having to deal with this issue every day with management!? While being on your honeymoon!? Gosh. It was such a daily hassle, by day 3 I wanted out of there! I I was so unhappy the entire week. I do have to say when we checked out we were greeted by probably one of the nicest warmest person, and that's about it. I would not come back, but rather book another resort.

Needs a full renovation very outdated. We stayed 1 night before going to the ritz Carlton, I know this is a different level of hotel but it’s the first hotel in the Maldives so it’s outdated. Bathroom smelled of urine

The reception staff greeted me with warm smiles and provided all the necessary information about the hotel's facilities and services. The bed was incredibly comfortable, The amenities provided in the room were of high quality and added a touch of luxury to my stay. The gym was also well-equipped, allowing me to keep up with my fitness routine during my stay, but some equipment has broken and not repair until I left the Island. I really have a fantastic experience at Kurumba Maldives.

The property looked very nice, but I found out that amenities weren't replaced and used q-tips were in the amenity box. Water was leaking from the bath tab. Phone in my room didn't work and I needed to ask to replace it. Lounge was not airconditioned, so it was like a sauna.

ビーチも、とても良かったです。

Nice island resort. Some of the rooms are a bit dated, but does have a nice tropical vibe. Good dining options but super expensive. Staff is super friendly, though sometimes service at the main beach grill or even in the restaurants seem to take forever. We waited 40 minutes in the seafood restaurant to be tended to and that’s after being seated.

It was a great place to be as I prefer the quiet and tranquility which the resort provided. The natural vegetation and beautiful orchid garden was a highlight. There are activities for everyone on the resort. I would recommend this place to family and friends who would like to take time out to relax and spend quality time with each other.

I had gotten a personal injury during my stay. The resort staff took care of me and assisted me to the hospital and to the airport. Really good staff and recommend this resort.

The place was very pleasant . Staff are friendly and always extend a chance to make experience better . But you should plan and book ahead , before arriving , some of the experience because they are filled fast . Beautiful views , can’t be the only 15 minutes to the Island straight from Airport .

We had an exceptional stay at Kurumba! It was our first time in the Maldives, and the hotel was only a 10 minutes boat ride from the airport. The room was excellent, spacious and clean, with direct beach access. The bathroom was large and had an outdoor shower area. The Kurumba staff went above and beyond to ensure we had fantastic stay. For example they decorated the room for our honeymoon and on my wife's birthday they brought her a cake. The breakfast was excellent, and there's a lot of food choices, our favorite restaurant was Thila. Overall we had a memorable stay.

Gorgeous resort conveniently located by the airport but separated by an ocean. The beach and water we gorevous. Lovely snorkeling options. The theme restaurants had super high quality food for dinners but make a reservation early or you’ll miss out. Great spots for photos and relaxing. This resort has it all.

Kurumba was a wonderful place for us to stay in the Maldives that was close to the airport but at the same time felt a world away. The snorkeling, spa, gardens, beaches and food were all wonderful. Anna was a huge help to us and so gracious.
