Boulenc Bed and Bread

This is a lovely Boutique hotel in a bustling part of Oaxaca. Good food options and an honor system for drinks. The breakfast was so nice, with fresh bread, fresh fruit, meats and local cheese

The entire staff is fantastic. They are friendly, helpful and most speak english well. The rooms are very comfortable and the food is amazing.

Such a lovely Bed and breakfast! Ideal location, the rooms were clean and beautifully appointed, the breakfast was delicious, and the entire staff were warm and very helpful. I’m so glad I got to stay there!

Location, hospitality, room vibe, pastries, coffee, everything is 10/10. Paul gave us great recommendations to explore the city. He also helped us book our day trip and ride to airport.

Lovely rooms, character and charm. Staff was incredibly helpful for anything we needed or had questions about, including many great recommendations for food, bars, etc.

El único detalle es el ruido durante la noche, que puede ser bastante fuerte. El hotel nos proporcionó tapones para los oídos, pero aun así me desperté varias veces.

Attached to and part of a renowned bakery and restaurant. Wonderful food and gracious staff. Lovely rooftop terrace

This hotel was one of the highlights of our trip. The location, staff, and breakfast were all outstanding, while the room and shared spaces were beautifully designed. The terrace is a real highlight! The room could be a little noisy but you expect this given the location.

Beautiful aesthetic! Great location. Warm, helpful staff. Excellent hospitality with thoughtful touches. We were only there for one night in our way to the coast and our stay was perfect. We will absolutely return.

Great value. Don’t let the building exterior put you off. Our hotel room was clean, rustic, and comfortable. The hotel is a small oasis in the middle of Oaxaca with a beautiful patio and rooftop terrace where one can relax and eat some of the complementary morning and evening tapas. Convenient location in the historic district with amazing restaurants and mezcal bars just a short walk away. The only downside is that the street outside is very noisy at night with loud trucks and cars passing by constantly and a bar outside with loud music and singing. The hotel thoughtfully provides earplugs in the room but I recommend bringing your own with a higher noise reduction rating.

La amabilidad, disposición y conocimiento del staff sobre las mejores cosas que hacer/restaurantes donde comer es lo mejor de este lugar. La terraza es super linda, así como las tapas diarias de cortesía :) Gracias por la excelente atención <3

We loved everything about this hotel! The staff are delightful and breakfast on the terrace was a delight.

Outstanding property and staff

It has a lovely aesthetic! I like the concept of the place. The terrace is beautiful and has 4 beautiful views of the city and concert arena. You can eat, rest, read and work up there. Casa de La Ciudad, is a local library less than a block away with a lot to read and research. Only down side to this place is the air conditioning, but a good trick is to open the windows and use the fan and wear cool pajamas. I’ll definitely return when the weather is less hot.

The upstairs balcony patio was the prize along with the excellent Boulenc restaurant and bar next door.

Really nice and quirky hotel. It was a very nice touch the little presents they gave us, and the free tapas in the afternoons. The rooms were nice and the bed very comfortable, but the bathroom was a bit too dark. Note there is no AC in the rooms, only a ceiling fan. When we visited Oaxaca it was very hot (34C), and had we had AC, we would've slept better. The rooftop was beautifully decorated and provided wonderful views. It is close to everything: great restaurants around and near bars to go for a drink.
