Casa Azul Maya

Schöne Unterkunft im ruhiger gelegenen Süden der Insel. Wir hatten ein großes, sauberes Zimmer und waren damit voll zufrieden. Das Frühstück im Beachclub war gut mit hervorragender Aussicht.

Website misleading in stating pool and private beach in property amenities. There is not. There is a pool and beach at public beachclub across street. Liked the quiet location and on bus route.

Casa Azul Maya is a beautiful little hotel located on the south end of Isla. The room was clean and the amenities were perfect. The included breakfast at Kin Ha is a big plus. Check in was so easy! Angel, the receptionist, was so kind and made the experience that much better. We loved our stay here!

We really enjoyed our stay. Have been to Isla many times, but this was our first time staying South Island. Our room was comfortable and roomy with many extras. Bonus was having a free breakfast at the affiliated KinHa Beach Club, where you can also spend the day enjoying the loungers and water toys. Several very good restaurants within a short walk. The whole area had a nice vibe and very chill. Highly recommend.

I would only give one star because the front desk lady was super nice. We had two room reservation and both rooms had severe mold. I am extremely allergic and my friends did not sleep through the night. Electricity also went out, but that's normal for that part of the island. There's also a trash dumpster nearby and the stench was pretty strong. They have so much work to do on the building.

Location was great. We walked to Punta Sur, the east coast footpath, and Kin Ha down the street for beach access. Loved the fantastic free breakfast off the menu at Kin Ha each day. Also really enjoyed dinners at Kin Ha. The hotel room was clean and efficient, which was what we were after. It was not luxury, nor a place to hang out beyond sleeping and showering, but we wanted to be out and about all day anyway, so this was what we needed. The front desk staff were very nice and accommodating.

Dejligt sted, havde dog forventet at hotellet lå ved vandet og der var meget lille vand udsigt pga et stort træ og bygninger. Måske os der ikke havde undersøgt det helt. Receptionen var de alle meget søde, værelset var i rigtig fin stand, dog mere slidt end hvad billederne fortæller. Det var skønt med samarbejdet med en Beach klub på den anden side med lækker morgenmad, der var to steder der kunne vælges morgenmad det andet sted ud til den lækre strand på nord siden af øen, som kræver en taxa eller golfvogn til at komme ud til. Hotellet ligger et stykke væk fra byen så hvis man skal nogen steder er det med taxa eller golfvogn. Vi gik en dag til punta sur rigtig smuk tur langs kysten på den modsatte side af hvad hotellet ligger

I really enjoy my time in this place. Ubicación was perfect when you travel with kids. Kin ha restaurant is beautiful excellent food, beach and pool. I was able to walk all day from my room to kin ha. I did not need nothing else.

Great place for your Isla Mujeres vacation. Very quiet, clean and the AC it’s the best.

Staff is excellent, friendly and helpful. But properly horrible. Bed not comfortable. No food after 7pm. Most night had no internet was barely able to get to go home. Most night had no electricity had to use flash light to pack before left. They said they had 24 hrs staff but they do not. This is way to far from central isla mujres. Would not stay here again. Beach and swimming options were great though

Office staff was amazing. They helped us book tours, golf carts and taxis. This hotel was in a less crowded part of the island and much quieter than some other areas. The room was quite big and very clean. We liked the resort across the street where we could swim, lay in the sun, and use their ocean kayaks and misc. other beach items. Highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely come back again!

The staff were amazing from planning our trip to making us comfortable. They answered my emails within hours with all my questions. They can plan the transportation, cab rides, and cart rentals. Fabulous breakfasts!

The property is on the quiet end of the island and on a quiet street. We were there in the off-season (Nov) when restaurants close early (6-7pm), so we had to eat early or keep some groceries in the refrigerator. The nearby sushi place, Samura, was open late and wonderful. The Kin Ha resort across the street was a great bonus. We had big wonderful breakfasts (included with our stay) by the water then enjoyed the loungers on the deck and swimming in the gorgeous blue water. There are kayaks, paddlboards, and snorkel masks (no snorkels) to borrow. Sometimes a fun band played in the afternoon. There are 3 pools by the bar to enjoy. We could have also visited the Mayan Beach Club on the north side of the island also, which has a sandy beach with good waves for playing in rather than a deck like a Kin Ha. Both beach clubs are included in the price of staying at Casa Azul Maya which makes this a great deal. We were very comfortable in the 2 bedroom family suite. We borrowed the hotel's bicycles one day to go to the Super Aki for groceries. The bikes were not in the best shape but made for a fun errand. The staff is very friendly and helpful and made us feel so welcome. We highly recommend this lovely spot!

EVERYTHING WAS EXCELLENT !!!! Only if I could give more stars I would. The room was beautiful, big, clean. All appliances were working, AC was quite and kept good temperature inside. The staff was so polite and helpful. Big plus was breakfast and two beach clubs were included. The location was just perfect, on very quiet street , a-lot of good restaurants around. Punta Sur was 10 min walking distance. Love it, love it. Really enjoy my stay. Definitely will be back. Thanks to all staff members!!!

Very good, clean hotel. Spacious rooms and courteous staff. Excellent and free use of sun loungers, kayaks and snorkeling gears in Kin-Ha. Amazingly delicious breakfasts and a magnificent beach in Mayan Beach Club. The cost of a taxi is a maximum of 150 pesos to anywhere on the island. Come, check into this hotel and enjoy the sun, sea and delicious food. Highly recommended !!!
