Casita de Maya Boutique Hotel

We stayed at Casita Maya for our first ever trip to Mexico and we had a fantastic time here! It really felt like staying with fun friends. Very relaxed energy, very beautiful space. Daniel is the MVP! He was always joking with my husband and was very quick to help with anything we needed throughout our stay, like numerous taxis and answering many questions. He’s also an excellent chef. We loved having our meals out by the pool, in fact we ordered breakfast here every morning. House keeping did a wonderful job for us as well! The only thing I noticed is that the tile floors were a little dusty (which I only noticed because I walk around in socks usually and the black pairs tend to show dust) but the room still felt very clean and the fresh towels and linens always smelled wonderful. The closet is huge for a hotel, with very convenient shelves just across from the vanity. We loved listening to birds through the adjustable louvered shutter windows and doors every morning as we woke up. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! We felt well-cared-for, clean, and comfortable at this hotel.

Just a quick one night stay but it couldn’t have been more accommodating or authentic. Gentleman got me quickly in my casita, respected how tired I was and let me be. Needed to get up early to catch a taxi for a cruise and he went and got one for me with ease. Overall a lovely experience in a lovely place. Should I come to Cozumel again for real I will stay there.

The property is wothin walkimg disatnce of the airport, but very quiet and cozy. Daniel, the manager waa outstanding we felt as though we were staying at his home. We are planning a longer stay in October!

We had to stay an extra night due to our flight being canceled. This place is a hidden gem right across the street from the airport. Food was amazing. Place was super clean and comfortable.

Dan and Dan went out of their way to take great care of us! Nice property and convenient to rental cars,airport and downtown. Very quiet. Felt like a private stay.

No sé ni por dónde empezar...todo nos encantó. Llegamos al aeropuerto, salimos y al cruzar la calle está el hotel; al entrar Don Daniel fue muy amable al recibirnos y nos asignaron una habitación al instante. La habitación con una cama extragrande y super cómoda, contaba con frigobar, horno de microondas y demás electrodomésticos. El baño con agua caliente. Al día siguiente nuestro desayuno estaba listo al despertar ya que se nos pregunto la noche anterior si deseábamos algo y a qué hora... ¡Riquísimo! Muy buenas porciones. Cabe mencionar que el lugar es muy tranquilo, no hay vecinos ruidosos, el único ruido que se escucha es el de la naturaleza y por la tarde algunos aviones, de esos ruidos que a todos los viajeros nos gusta escuchar. Hay diferentes agencias de automóviles a los alrededores, por lo que si llegan tarde les recomiendo rentar el auto al día siguiente para darle la vuelta a la isla y así evitar un día más de renta. Dan, el dueño, un hombre muy amable y servicial. Eduardo, muy amable. Bigotes, Freddy y Chocolate, son los guardianes del lugar y amigables con los huéspedes. Este hotel nos hizo sentir como en casa y nos llevamos a un buen amigo, Daniel. Esperamos volver pronto, lo más pronto posible. Recomiendo 100/10.

Our flight was cancelled, so we had to rush to find a place close to the airport. There are two Daniels here, one the owner, the other the cairtaker and cook. From the moment we walked in, they made us feel welcome and cared for. This may seem like a tiny, simple place, but it is a real find. If you're looking for a place for a short stop-over, this is it! We can't recommend it highly enough.

Quiet, convenient, friendly

Just across from the Cozumel airport. Dan created us when we arrived. Showed the property and helped us with our car rental next door. Daniel made us breakfast every morning. It was great. Everything was fresh. Daniel was very friendly and wonderful to talk with. The last nights he made us drinks. As good of a margarita as I have had on the island. Overall a great place.

It was owner operated and very quaint. Owner was super! Had to taxi into town. Very close to airport so heard a lit of runway noise.

FRIENDLY STAFF! WE WERE TREATED ROYALLY! DAN IS A GREAT HOST, DANIEL FIXED US A DELICIOUS BREAKFAST AND MADE US FEEL LIKE WE WERE PART OF THE FAMILY.

This is my second stay here and I absolutely love it. The owner and his staff are amazing. They are so nice and helpful with everything. The rooms are nice and very clean. I also love the convenience of being able to walk from the airport to the property. This is my go-to place to stay when in Cozumel!

3-5 minute walk from airport. Quiet neighborhood. Very responsive friendly staff. 25 minute walk to the ocean. I will defiantly return.

This was our first visit to Cozumel and we felt at home right away at Casa de Maya. It was very clean and had a charm not found at big resorts. We loved Chef Daniel's breakfast, which we had 5 out of 7 days we were there and a very delicious dinner made by him. we would definitely stay there again.

This hotel is a great value. 3 minute walk from the airport. Reasonable cab rides ($6-$20) to anywhere on the island. Room was large and very comfortable and we slept well in the king size bed. Staff does a great job taking care of its guests. Thank you Eduardo and Daniel for taking great care of us including the special anniversary dinner.

The hospitality was excellent and friendly.

Amazing little boutique hotel. Daniel, the chef, made us feel welcome the minute we arrived. He made us tasty cocktails to drink by the pool. Daniel prepared our supper and breakfast. The food was delicious.

Such a gem in a quiet area of Cozumel. It’s right next to the airport but we only heard planes a couple of times. The casita is beautiful and very comfortable. Dan made us feel very welcome and was quite accommodating. His chef Daniel was also very friendly and enjoyable to talk to - and his breakfasts are good local cuisine and reasonably priced. This place truly made our trip to Cozumel special and I would definitely stay again.
