Hotel Irma

Great Pool Area with a Great Beach View, Room was clean, Housekeeper Lady was very good. Breakfast was Awesome, Staff at the Restaurant, Bar and Pool Area was Excellent. The Front Desk Staff in the other hand was not friendly at all and need more customer service training. As a family we arrived at 3:15pm from a long flight, when I tried to check in the gentleman told me he could not find my reservation after he asked me to show him on my personal phone the reservation he then took a picture of my reservation with his phone. Then he told us the room was not ready that he was going to hold our luggage in a holding room and that if we would like to go to the restaurant and we could wait for our room there. Keep in mind he never apologize for not having my room ready at 3pm like the check in is supposed to be, we decided to eat at the restaurant. The front desk did not even had the decency to let us know our room was ready after about an hour, the front desk told one of the restaurant wait staff to let us know which I found very unprofessional I did mentioned about it and they told me the Lady in Charge of the hotel would come and talk to me she never did.But overall nice hotel, and a good location walking distance to the little downtown Zihuatanejo..

My travel experience with hotel, Irma began after reserving a room, four months in advance. My credit card was billed immediately for the full amount. Shocked. Upon arrival, we were informed that the manager had removed all the refrigerators from the hotel rooms and that it was against hotel policy to consume any food or drink that was not purchased on the hotel property. Our ocean view room did not have any dresser drawers so we lived out of our suitcases on the floor most of our trip. The hallway outside my room door was a daily garbage collection site. My wife and I ate at the restaurant several times, but found the food generally dry and lacking taste. The pools are incredible. The list of rules that this hotel has is excessive . The manager does not appear interested in engaging her guests in conversation We will never stay at this hotel again nor recommended to anyone else.

Great Property Friendly staff, wonderful ocean views and perfect location

Beach front was beautiful!

rooms very clean and cleaned daily, all staff were fantastic, great view of the bay and the beach from the room, from the dining room and from the pool. daily breakfast was excellent. beach short walk down the stairs, ten plus restaurants within 2-4 blocks.

We had a week there and were very happy with our room. The view was wonderful and the room was spacious and clean. Location of the hotel is great, as you can easily walk into town or the beach. Will definitely stay there again.

Everything was great. Hotel staff, cleanliness of the property, view etc were all great. I would consider staying here again IF there was a mini fridge within the room. I like to keep a few things in the room but without the fridge, I think we would most likely book somewhere else. I heard this from others as well. Just thought I would share that. Otherwise, we were very happy with our stay.

No shops nearby. Room was clean and kept clean very day. It was as very disappointing that there wasn’t a bar fridge in the room at all. When I asked about a fridge they looked at me like I had three heads. Hard to keep any cold drinks or any meds in your room. I would not return to this property because of that reason.

We have stayed here several times. The rooms are clean, the beds were very comfortable, the staff is always courteous and attentive, and the view is fantastic!

View was awesome and the shower was always hot ! Only negative comment I have is that it would have been better to have a small bar fridge in the room

Nice hotel, great food, wonderful staff, lovely pool. Rooms ok, had what we needed.

The beach was great and the pool was perfect for kids.

Beautiful pool area. Staff friendly. Room service was disappointing: not enough towels one day, no needed toilet paper the next day.

We stayed at Hotel Irma from Feb 27-Mar 13. Had a gorgeous view from our room. The hotel was clean, staff was friendly and the beds were very comfortable. The one downside was no mini-fridge or coffee-maker in the rooms.

The hotel was lovely. In every way. The staff the layout proximity to the beach. The view. My room had a beautiful patio and view of the ocean. The food was great. I definitely will go back.

Yes, right next to pool that was not crowded. On site masuse was great and meals were unexpectedly high level.
