Wonderful stay at Jw with family traveling with two kids under 7. Good food variety for breakfast. Have been here a few times now for the value, you can’t beat it.

The property is an ultra modern and minimalist facility. It's pretty on the inside, but approaching it looks underwhelming. You get tired of the premises within your first few hours of walking around; and by the way you will be walking in silence most of the time. The resort is uncomfortably quiet, there's no music whatsoever, sometimes it feels like you are alone in this massive complex. If you are spending $400 a night for a basic room, you are expected to pay an extra $350 to exist on the property. Rooms are beautiful and staff are VERY professional - this is a very strong point of the resort. Mind you, there's nothing to do outside the facility. And the whole resort does not have much to do there except staying at a number of pools or eating. Once you are tired of eating, or being at the pool. Here is a comprehensive list of the things that you can do: 1. Go to the Spa However the spa is deceptively expensive. The nickel and dimeing of everything ruins your ability to relax. Every service or food you purchase you have to sign off on a check and that completely ruins your time at this resort. Despite having nothing to do at the resort, everything is charged for. Coffee, water, soda, breakfast/lunch/dinner, toiletries, in-room bath salts, matches for a cigar that you bought, and if you are getting a massage at the spa just be aware that they may charge you extra if they go slightly above what they are expected to do.

Every single thing about this hotel was first class all the way! The staff was amazing- exceptional service from Axel, Jajir, Roy and Jesus, to the just superb service at the restaurant Cafe Artist- which I’ll be surprised if they don’t receive a Michelin Star soon- simply amazing all the way around- the pools were clean and gorgeous and the views were captivating. Even the room service food was amazing. Can’t wait to go back!

The hotel is very spacious and well planned. Breakfast buffet at Ua Restaurant was wonderful. The best meal during our vacation was at the hotel restaurant, Cafe des Artistes. Rooms are very well appointed and comfortable. Overall, we felt pampered and very well taken care of—carefree experience. We would definitely stay again.

La atencion y actitud del perdinal en el check in y salida muy mala. Ademas me hicieron cargos extras.

Un Hotel con un concepto cálido y sobrio, sumamente tranquilo y relajante. La atención de todo el personal maravillosa muy atentos y con un servicio siempre presente. Si me parece que hacen falta opciones de alimentos y más cuando te quedas más de 3-4 días. Y algo que siempre voy a criticar en los Hoteles en México es que manejen una programación en la TV “exclusiva” para los norteamericanos cuando estamos en México. Y la otra observación es que les faltó cortesía en el msj o mail pre-check in ya que me llegó a mi correo hasta un día antes de mi egreso del hotel. Algunas áreas del hotel descuidadas de pintura y mantenimiento pero en general bien. Regresaría por la calidad del hotel si, pero quizá por la distancia a San José del Cabo o Cabo san Lucas no!

I have stayed at many Marriott properties worldwide, but this was by far the worst experience I’ve had with a manager in the entire brand. When we returned to our room, we found the bathroom ceiling leaking water. The situation was handled extremely poorly no apology, no effort to make things right, and just attitude when we asked for a different room so we wouldn’t have to waste our vacation waiting for repairs. This is the lowest level of professionalism I’ve ever encountered at any Marriott hotels. The company should seriously review this manager’s qualifications because experiences like this make me reconsider staying with Marriott in the future.

Does not have elevators to the pools and restaurants, 3 storey escalators and long long distances to go anywhere and do anything. Hotel Far far away from anything.

It was one of the most stunning views and a super romantic resort—not for partiers. The private beach, excellent food, and fantastic staff were also highlights. Special thanks to Francisco, one of the managers, for being so gracious and kind. The restaurant staff to the hostesses- top-notch. Jose and the team. Valet- 3 mins wait time, and the guys are great. I would rather pay a bit in Cabo to get top-tier service, and the beachfront was stunning. I will be back. The place is super clean, and at night, you can hear the waves. Every person entering the property is checked.

Not very accommodating and just laughed at my situation

This was a weird experience. Beautiful property but almost no customers. Staff mostly did not speak English. Restaurant with 12 waiters and we were the only customer, but they still could not get it right. I don't like to write negative reviews, but overall I say "not worth the money", sorry.

A LOT more cockroaches on the property this year than in previous years. Still a fabulous time! Beautiful facility and amenities!

Repeat stay. Nice quiet location on coast. Close to San Jose Del Cabo for a change in restaurants/ wander around town.

We had an amazing time at the Jw marriot all the staff was amazing and always made sure to take care of us. Tadeo was so welcoming and attentive and Aracely kept our room clean and our waters always restocked. Thank you all for a lovely time in Cabo!

Beautiful property! Great customer service. If you are looking to relax in a serene place this is it. All the staff are great and the swim up pool is fantastic. we had no issues and it was our 2nd time visiting the JW in cabo.
