This is a beautiful, small hotel with a staff that is beyond friendly, warm, helpful, professional, and kind. It was like being with family, in only the best way. We loved our room (#5), the lovely neighborhood, the fabulous breakfasts, the sound of the fountain in the quiet courtyard, and above all, the service. Maricela, Emanuel and Gabriel made us feel that we never wanted to leave. They are very sweet, very special human beings.

La Casona de Tita is everything you would want in a boutique hotel. Six rooms surround a lovely patio. Breakfast (included) was spectacular. We stayed eight nights and by the end it all felt like family. The attention to detail and attentiveness of the staff was superb. Highlights recommended.

La Casona is a wonderful place to visit Oaxaca City. Very well located, wonderful inner courtyard, great breakfast and amazing staff. You feel like you know all the staff after 24 hours. They are friendly, will gladly make reservations and make your stay warm and welcoming. Find Marie, Gabriel or Manuel and you will be all set for a fabulous time in the city.

We visited Oaxaca to attend my friend's daughter's wedding and celebrate my birthday. This place was recommended to a friend who had stayed there during her visit. I wanted to spend time with her and her mother during the stay, so we booked it, and it was great! It was the best decision. It's a beautiful place with six rooms that open to a courtyard. The staff is fantastic and made our stay feel so homey. The breakfast which was included was delicious! We got to meet the owner, and she was great. Beautiful lady inside and out. It was such a fantastic experience that we plan to return, and I would love to stay here again. Cindy & Chuy

The staff were wonderful, especially Mari, who was ultra helpful and super friendly. We pretty much had the place to ourselves, but even so, someone was always there, to open the door and bid us a good night. The view when you step out the front door is so so beautiful. Highly recommend.

And incredible experience with an excellent location not only to el Centro but to two trending areas, Xochimilco and Jalatlaco. All areas within a 10 min walking distance. The staff is personable, charming and very attentive. Breakfast was a delight to look forward to each morning on the open terrace. The food was delicious, well presented, and try the freshly squeezed Mandarin Orange juice. We felt safe, comfortable and well taken care of in this small boutique colonial house. We will return on our next visit next year. Oaxaca is charming and historic! And Marie, the manager, will assist you in any of your request. Gabriel was a delight at breakfast! Make sure to visit Rito for chocolate ice-cream around the corner. Marie can direct you there! Make your reservation!

This is a stunning boutique hotel. It's in a great location, a short, downhill walk into the centre of Oaxaca with all its bars and restaurants, but the locale (and the thick colonial walls) means that it is very quiet at night. There are only a handful of rooms, all set around a beautiful and tranquil courtyard with plants where they serve amazing, freshly cooked breakfasts each morning. The rooms have very high ceilings and are decorated with a tasteful selection of contemporary art and traditional furniture. The bathroom was modern and very clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable. Best of all were the staff, who were all very friendly and welcoming, willing to help with anything to improve your stay in Oaxaca. La Casona de Tita hotel was really the highlight of our two weeks in Mexico and when we return to Oaxaca we will have no hesitation about booking it again. Highest recommendation!

La ubicación es muy buena, cercana al centro caminando. El servicio de todo el staff es de primer nivel, los meseros como Gabriel, la hostess Mary, súper amables y siempre dispuestos a ayudar. El hotel está en excelentes condiciones.

What a home from home this was. Felt so safe and comfortable. Wonderful beds and spacious rooms. The staff are just wonderful. Breakfast though limited in its choice is wonderfully cooked and delicious. Close to all major spots. Would absolutely stay again and again

El desayuno muy rico , los jugos , el panque de naranja, las mermeladas.La habitación súper grande y bonita llena de detalles. Y por último la ubicación de primera cerca de todo , Santo Domingo , Corredor Macedonio Alcalá, Auditorio Guelaguetza, la zona súper segura, en general nos encantó !!definitivo volveríamos ahi

Our stay at La Casona De Tita was incredible. The hotel is located in the center of the city, within a short walking distance of amazing restaurants, museums, shopping and more. The traditional Spanish style courtyard was warm and inviting with a fountain. We had an amazing breakfast al fresco every morning. The staff treated us like family, we loved spending time with them in the morning, chatting while we had amazing home cooked meals and coffee. They were very attentive to our needs and kept our nicely sized room clean and tidy. A experience. We hope to visit and stay at Hotel Casona De Tita again. PS - the food was incredible and the tomatillo salsa rivaled the best restaurants in Oaxaca!

The most wonderful place to stay in Oaxaca - my husband and I were in town for a wedding and loved our entire experience at La Cason’s de Tita. Not only was the location extremely convenient to everything you’d want to see in the City, but it was quiet, safe and charming. The entire staff were warm and welcoming, and even helped me fix my dress when it broke a few minutes before we had to leave for the wedding! Overall, highly recommend.
