Nido Parque Mexico

We had an excellent stay at Parque Nido and would happily stay here again. The location is fantastic, walkable, safe, central, and surrounded by everything you could need. The views overlooking the park were beautiful, and the apartment itself was clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed. The entire building has a very aesthetic, upscale feel. One of our favorite things was the convenience of having great restaurants right on the ground floor, along with plenty of coffee shops and bakeries just steps away. Check-in was incredibly easy, even though we arrived late at night. Having a security guard in the lobby at all times added an extra sense of comfort and security. Before our trip, we noticed some reviews mentioning noise from the restaurants below and activity in the park. Personally, we found it charming and part of the experience of staying in a vibrant neighborhood. It never bothered us, and things seemed to quiet down by around 11 PM. The unit does not have air conditioning, but we found that opening the sliding doors allowed a fresh breeze to flow through and cool the space down very quickly. Overall, this was a wonderful place to stay in Mexico City, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a stylish, comfortable, and well-located home base for exploring the city.

Excellet property. Phenonmenal location. Only downside is the bathroom setup in the room I stayed in.

Perfect location, really enjoyed my stay and perfect views of Park Mexico. The only thing with my room, was clearly there was a painting missing above the bed and just looked blank with nails in the wall. Also, the bathroom extractor fan wasn’t working. And because I was on the first floor, didn’t feel safe to leave the terrace door open.

Excellent location. Bright, clean, spacious apartment. Good communication with host. Easy check in. Just take into consideration it is located on top of a restaurant in an area with lots of movement throughout the day. It can get a little noisy, but if you keep the windows closed you can hardly hear anything from the street. There is no daily housekeeping and no A/C, I was there during a cool month, but that could be an issue during the warmer months. Overall a pleasant experience, I would definitely be back next time in Mexico City.

Clean room. Easy check in and bag storage if you speak Spanish. No AC but not really needed. Thin walls but people are respectful and was pretty quiet.

Room was big enough, building is very well located, in front of the beautiful México Park, kitchen had what they offered, bathroom was clean, Staff at the reception was friendly (Omar was really kind). We came early but wasn’t possible to check in, so they kept our luggage. Inside our suite it was really hot. There was a small fan. We tried to keep the window open but below the unit there was a restaurant that had music and noise from breakfast to late dinner. At nights our view was the restaurant awning and the back wall of a building with really brilliant lights shining the whole night. We had to keep the blackout curtains and window closed. At 7 am in the morning we decided to open the window to have some fresh air, and suddenly a man appeared in front of our window. He climbed with a ladder to clean the top of the awning. He told me that I could close the window to avoid the dust. I closed the window (again) but mold smelled when he started cleaning. I felt really frustrated and asked the receptionist to stop him. She tried but he continued. The receptionist spoke to the restaurant manager and he said if we could wait till he finished, apologized and offered a meal. We took our stuff and left, early.

The Nido wins on location, cleanliness, and setup. It’s more of a short stay apartment than a hotel. There are not a lot of hotel style services, just housekeeping if you need it, but it has a wonderful location on Parque Mexico, a nice roof deck overlooking the city and a free laundry room. It all works very well for the thrifty traveler.

Our room was beautiful, overlooking Parque Mexico and the flowering jacaranda trees. We enjoyed the complimentary coffee in the morning and herbal tea at night, sitting on our balcony or the gorgeous rooftop terrace. It was very convenient to be able to do our laundry before moving to our next location. Finally, the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a great experience.

Everything good except that they don’t have parking and neither a/c in the room

On the plus side the location is excellent and the rooms are new and clean. On the negative there really isn’t any staff to help with anything. Just a security guard that speaks little English. Noise can be an issue as the walls are paper thin - I could hear the people talking in the room next door.

Such a great location. Right across the street from the park. Surprisingly quiet. The entire building is very clean and the unit looked just like the pictures. So many shops, restaurants and coffee shops nearby, but also super easy to catch an Uber right in front. Absolutely loved it and we would stay here again.

The location was excellent, and the room itself was great and very clean. The only downside is that it’s situated in front of a busy street and directly under a restaurants , so a lot of noise is expected.

You can't beat this location with the lush tree lined streets and plenty of dining options all around you. The building has a beautiful exterior, renovated by a renowned architect but the lack of air conditioning in the rooms and housekeeping only once per week impacted our stay. I knew about the a/c and thought I could be ok since we traveled in December and we were. I did not feel hot at any time BUT, the rooms smelled of mildew. My allergies were out of control and my room was switched to a better one but every time we came back to the room, the smell was there. We would leave the sliding glass door open for ventilation but then you would hear the dogs barking all day (it's in front of a dog park) and the noise from the nearby restaurants. Overall, the building is beautiful, I just wished that they had added the air conditioning during the renovation. I can't imagine it in the summer... I also didn't like that the room was only cleaned once per week. With the lack of ventilation, the towels should at least be changed daily, they never really dried after each use. Would I return? No, I realized that I need the A/C and hotel services but I can see why it would work well for others that need a full working kitchen and more space or have a dog (they will be in heaven here 😀)
