El.lugar super bonito, el.aire acondicionado y ventilador son un gran detalle, la habitación cuenta con todo lo necesario, tuvimos una circunstancia con insectos pero el personal lo resolvió eficientemente. La cafetería muy bien, atención rápida y muy amables todos !

Great ocean view from pool area and magnificent beach

A gem of a place! Not the big resort vibes which we appreciate. Very friendly staff, some of the best food and drinks we had in the village.

Staff very friendly and nice, view is fantastic, specially sunrise, breakfast is delicious. Hotel has a pool and bar. Hotel location is great,right on the beach. Room clean every day !

Nice little hotel on the beach in the somewhat off-the-beaten-track town of Los Barriles. Romm was clean, staff was friendly and breakfast in the restaurant (a la carte) was good. Several nice little restaurants nearby and pickleball courts attached to the hotel and very close by as well. Beautiful beach, good for swimming and lots of watersports.

Pics are deceiving. It was like staying at a cheap motel. Our room was very dated. Sagging curtains, old bed covers and a couch that I would not sit on as it was so filthy. Bathroom desperately needed a Reno. There was no TV, no phone, no coffee, not even a glass for water. The wifi was terrible. There were no chairs to use on the beach. The pool loungers were filthy and the pool itself was freezing and dirty looking. It was advertised as breakfast included, but after we paid we were told it wasn’t. We left after one night.

Place was wonderful in the staff were great to work with. I would definitely go back again.

Property is a bit dated. No amenities in room. The pool bar is separate from the Hotel? No room charges. Some things are cash only? Good place for fishermen. Very quiet.

The place has a beautiful beach but the rooms are like a inexpensive motel in USA, no TV, only water. But the price is because of the location the best beach you can find.

While the location was nice in a remote fishing village, it was not what i expected. The sea was to chopy to snorkle. The hotel restaurant has a nice view but it was very difficult to eat with all the flies and mos. The room was small, towels smelly, pool green with algae, the wifi and power went out four times so I could not do any work. Also the American crowd was on the rough side. I will definitely not return.

Check in was quick and easy. The hotel is in the heart of Los Barriles and on the beach. They have a large pool. I would definitely get a pool/ocean view room. It is worth the extra $$$. The bed was a little soft for my liking. They have a cafe/coffee shop which has food and is open earlier in the day. They have a full bar/restaurant in the evenings as well as a little palapa bar right above the beach with a great view. We saw whales breaching and playing and rays jumping, all right out in front of the hotel. The staff were all super friendly, especially Leo. A couple of things to note. Our room did not have a microwave or coffee maker. Also the water pressure is a little light and the sink drained slow. But these are small things compared to all the great things about Playa Del Sol. We will most definitely stay here again. It is 2 blocks from the main streets and there are a ton of restaurants, bars, taco stands and grocery options within a few blocks.
