Viceroy Riviera Maya All Inclusive

Spectacular service. All staff are customer service oriented. The room and property is clean. If I would have to give a recommendation, it would be to have more entertaining activities to do, specially at dinner/evening/night time.

Very private. The staff is the best. Everyone is warm and welcoming. This is our second time visiting and was glad to see many of the same faces from our first visit.

Wow, what a beautiful small resort in the jungle. From the moment we arrived to the time we checked out, all of the staff were welcoming, friendly and went out there way to ensure we had comfortable stay. If you are looking for a luxury, relaxing, quiet chilled out resort, this is the place for you. You will be greeted with a coconut and lime drink which is very delicious. We stayed all inclusive the food, drinks and room service were tasty. Unlike some hotels we stayed before this hotel the room service does stop at 10:30pm, not a problem for us but just something to bare in mind. Our Villa was very close to a lovely beach which has enough chairs and beds for everyone. We celebrated our wedding anniversary here and they made us feel very special, too many people to thank but I would especially like to thank Jacqueline for showing us around the resort and Angel for the welcome drink shot and natural soaps. These are a lovely gift to bring back home and remind us of our stay. Our room was kindly upgraded and very clean, it has everything you need and mini bar was fully stocked. Our room had a huge tub, shower indoors and one outdoors for the extra jungle experience. All villas come with your own private plunge pool and hammock which is great for those that want to just stay in and enjoy quality time with their loved ones. A small little gym which made my husband happy and an amazing spa. I love that they have natural products. Can’t wait to come back.

This was my first experience where I was in awe of the service provided by the hotel staff. Every single employee goes far and beyond to accommodate you with anything you need. I really felt pampered.

By far the best resort we’ve ever stayed at. Staff was amazing and the food was delicious. Loved how quiet it was and definitely peaceful place to relax. Met beyond expectations. Already looking into booking for next year.

I called to cancel my reservation due to a predicted tropical storm. The property had no record of a reservation for me. Viceroy proceeded to reach out to confirm my reservation through Expedia, and then cancel my reservation, only to claim half of my cost due to a cancellation/no show. I would highly recommend staying somewhere that has more values and ethics that to do business in this manner.

I'm sure this was once a lovely property. I wish I had visited 20 years ago. Sadly, a 2/3 star, all-inclusive mega resort opened next door and completely destroyed the beach and surrounding areas. You can no longer enter the water (ocean) AT ALL, even to your ankles, as there is broken concrete and rocks on the shore, garbage, and there are the boats and jetskis from next door racing at full speed back and forth from dusk until dawn, just feet from the shore, in front of the Viceroy. It is NOT SAFE, and the resort next door allows locals to buy day passes so the crown is, um, quite rough. Also, there is loud boom-boom music all day and night, making it hard to sleep at night. And the fumes/exhaust from all the boats and jet skis chokes you and you can't sit anywhere near the pool if there is a breeze or you'll die from exhaust fumes. Also, the food is mediocre and I got food poisoning. There were also cockroaches (alive and well) in my room: on my bed and in the bathroom. Gross.

Muy bonito lugar, privado, tranquilo -solo adultos- concepto tipico pero elegante, muy buen servicio, amigables y atentos.

Beautiful property. The staff was very friendly and always smiling and saying hello even the outside vendors that they had working were very friendly. The hosts were always respectful and cheerful. The wait staff were excellent. I can’t say enough about this resort we will definitely be coming back.

Viceroy hotel is top of the line luxury. The staff was over the top attentive and the property is secluded, well kept and reminded me of “Disney” detail- attention to everything- sight, sense and sound.

My wife and I have stayed at a handful of different places in playa. We always said we need to stay somewhere different so we can experience new things. This stay at viceroy changed our mind. We have found our new permanent vacation getaway. Everything from the food, room, beach, staff, location was top notch. Very small resort of roughly 45 bungalows which have your own heated pool to indoor and outdoor shower. So quiet. The service was amazing. Pepe at the beach was incredible. We plan on returning very soon.

The property is a very nice small resort. Great for relaxation and for privacy. The staff was very accommodating and responsive to the guest's needs.

What a special place! The people and the service make this truly 5-star. So friendly and caring and eager to please. The grounds are beautiful, and they do their best to keep natural, but well kept. There are monkeys playing around, that we were lucky enough to see a couple times. The romantic, private villas come with your own heated plunge pool and outdoor shower. Like your own little oasis The beach was a major downer. Small, rocky and just not what you dream of. And for all the promise of tranquility, there are resorts built on both sides playing loud bass music. At least the noise ended at 11pm (most nights). Despite these shortcomings, I still highly recommend this property, as you will not find another place with people as nice and kind and attentive.

Magical stay at the viceroy. The staff and room are truly magnificent and it's a beautiful property. The beach is rocky and it's truly not designed to leave the grounds after you arrive. So it's more about the pool and your villa. As such I don't think it would make sense not to do the all inclusive stay. The food and drinks were much better (much of it truly delicious) than at many resorts though options are more limited as it's much smaller. We were not offered a room upgrade which was surprising as it didn't seem full but they gave us a room very close to the beach and it's hard to imagine a more beautiful space than the one we enjoyed.
