Villas del Vigía had the most amazing view I have come across! Unfortunately, all three beds that were included in the villa were extremely hard, almost rock hard. I mentioned to the person in charge that my mom, who was staying with me, could no longer put up with her back pain and if there was anything they could do (like switch the mattress for example) The reply was “we will see what we can do” and never hear back on that topic again, and a week later we checked out. If you can’t sleep on super hard beds, this is not a good option for you. I’m 35 years old and the hardness of the bed even kept waking me up at night. A few sofa cushions were completely ripped from zipper which I let them know, that way I wouldn’t be responsible for the damage. One stove burner did not work. The refrigerator was leaking water. On the positive, the place was very clean and the view was absolutely amazing.

Todo excelente el único detalle es con las toallas, no las cambian, las del baño y de alberca, las sábanas tampoco pero ahí no tenemos tanto problema

Super linda, amplia, con todas las comodidades. Lo único es que no hay tiendas cercanas

March 2025 We had a wonderful stay at Villas del Vigia. Liceth was so pleasant and very helpful making dinner and cab reservations, as well as quickly attending to questions about the condo and surrounding area. The view from the condo and pool is breathtaking. Million $$$ view. Very spacious and well furnished condo. Nice 30 mins down hill walk to the beach and restaurants. 150 Pesos cab ride back. If you're looking for a quiet, well appointed place to stay, Villas del Vigia is the place. Can't wait to come back.

This property is beautiful and has all the amenities and a beautiful ocean view! We are definitely coming back.

la vista

This is a condo building not a hotel (no on site restaurant, store etc, but you can request daily housekeeping). It is located on top of a steep winding road, very quiet and private, AMAZING views of the bay. They were communicative in advance of our arrival and we could text anytime we needed something. A water dispenser was provided so we didn't need to worry about going to the store for bottled water. Well appointed kitchen with everything we needed to cook meals at home. Beautiful tastefully decorated suite. Our balcony was divine and we spent many quiet nights at home enjoying the view. There is also a good sized pool on the property with lounge chairs that we never got around to using. You will want a car if you stay here but Playa la Ropa is a short drive down the hill with tons of great restaurants and parking was easy to find.
