La petite kasbah

When discovering the area, little did I think I would end up sleeping in a traditional straw and mud brick room - I must admit it was delightful! Sadly we were only there for 1 night (a mistake we hope to rectify next year) but the welcome we received was second to none, friendly, obliging and fun - this family has worked hard to transform the old family house into an authentic guest house, offering the very best of the desert combined with just enough mod cons to make it comfortable for the weary westerner! Food was produced on short order and was delicious - breakfast on the huge rooftop terrace was copious, delicious and once again served with warm and friendship- can't wait to go back and oh yes, look out for the fantastic black dates of Zagora!

We have stayed just 1 night. But we felt very special during the stay. As we arrived quite late and we had no time to go to the city for a dinner, hotel owner proposed to prepare a dinner on the terrace and after to have a mint tea together with other family staying in the hotel. It was lovely evening. The staff is very friendly. Bear in mind that this is a budget hotel, but for the price you pay - you get a good service.

Hotel værten var meget opmærksom på om vi havde det godt og gjorde meget for det. Maden var særlig god. Det lille hotel havde en god atmosfære og der var stille og roligt. Jeg vil anbefale det til andre der ønsker et afslappende ophold uden larm fra tv og lignende.
