This riad is great. Being next to the sea wall it is easy to find and also gives you an excellent view of the sea from the roof terrace. The staff are really helpful and the breakfast is good. This riad and Essaouira are great places to relax in after doing the busier parts of Morocco. Thank you Abdoul.

La Fontaine Bleue is a beautiful place to stay in Essauira. The views from the terrace were stunning, you could lay down in one of the beds there and feel as if you were actually at the beach. Sometimes the waves splashed up there! We specially enjoyed the breakfast with all of the delicious food you can imagine (home made yogurt, tea, coffee, cakes, pancakes, bread, fruits, juice, etc.). They actually gave us some different things every morning (different cake or pancakes). The room where we stayed had views to the sea and you could hear it while sleeping. The bathroom was beautiful. All spotless! Staff are helpful and friendly always. I would definetly recommed this place and would be happy to stay there again.

Es gibt nichts zu beanstanden! TOLLES landestypisches Frühstück, super freundliches (wie immer in diesem Land) Personal, was sich wahnsinnig viel Mühe gibt uns den Tag zu verschönern. Alles sauber und gepflegt, mitten in der Medina. Alles in allem - sehr zu empfehlen!!!-

A fabulous Riad Most friendly staff - Hafida and Abdu + all others :-) Breakfast and dinner excellent ! We had to pay in cash - which was inconvenient for us - since this gave us problems when we had to cancel the last 3 nights for personal reasons.

The hotel is located in the ancient Medina of Essaouira directly at the sea. All employees are very friendly and attentive, so we felt really welcome. The rich and various breakfast at the terrace with view over the sea is a highlight. Essaouira is especially a good place for arts and crafts and one shouldn't miss the experience of buying fresh fish that has just arrived from one of the many fisher boats. North and south from the city there are beaches, at the Southern beach it is possible to go swimming. The Riad is very cozy and clean and we can highly recommend to stay a few days in La Fontaine Blue to discover the town of Essaouira at the African Atlantic coast.

We had a fantastic stay at Riad La Fontaine Bleue. All of the staff were really welcoming and friendly, the room was lovely and very clean, the riad is in a great location in the old town and is beautiful and the roof terrace overlooking the sea is a great place to relax. Breakfast was good too. I'd recommend it anyone who wanted to visit Essaouria.

We loved this Riad. It's our honeymoon and we have been staying at so many places. This was my favorite spot. The proprietor and his family were so lovely. The place was clean and comfortable and breakfast was great. If you're going to Essaouira, I highly recommend it.

We stayed for 4 nights in the Bahia room with direct access to the 2 roof terrace areas and sea view. Comfy sun loungers and seating areas. Staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Lovely room with well equiped bathroom. Clean towels and bed linen daily. Good breakfast, fresh ingredients and plentiful. Located in the Medina and easy to find, about 10 min walk from Bab Marrakech- follow the walkway to the very top then veer left and it's on the left. Very quiet and safe. Loads of restaurants and cafes within easy walking distance.

We had a fantastic stay at Riad La Fontaine Bleue. All of the staff were really welcoming and friendly, the room was lovely and very clean, the riad is in a great location in the old town and is beautiful and the roof terrace overlooking the sea is a great place to relax. Breakfast was good too. I'd recommend it anyone who wanted to visit Essaouria.

We loved this Riad. It's our honeymoon and we have been staying at so many places. This was my favorite spot. The proprietor and his family were so lovely. The place was clean and comfortable and breakfast was great. If you're going to Essaouira, I highly recommend it.

Fontaine Bleue is a fantastic riad where personal service and kindness is the order of the day! The staff and the setting makes for a magic experience! The breakfast is amazing and includes freshly made pancakes! The coffee and mint tea accompanied by Hafida's home made biscuits are also not to be missed! Go! You will not be disappointed! Xxx

We stayed for 4 nights in the Bahia room with direct access to the 2 roof terrace areas and sea view. Comfy sun loungers and seating areas. Staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Lovely room with well equiped bathroom. Clean towels and bed linen daily. Good breakfast, fresh ingredients and plentiful. Located in the Medina and easy to find, about 10 min walk from Bab Marrakech- follow the walkway to the very top then veer left and it's on the left. Very quiet and safe. Loads of restaurants and cafes within easy walking distance.
