The place was nice, specially the roof top. One "not so small problem": WE HAD BED BUGS IN THE ROOM!!!!

This site just ate my lengthy review, so I will keep this one shorter. I was very pleased with the atmosphere, location and staff at Ostello Bello (thanks, Yoyo!) and would recommend it to any budget-minded traveler. You can get a large private room with en suite bath for a great price. It may not win a million design awards but I liked it a lot. Breakfast is free, coffee is free all day. Info provided on activities, and signup sheets, helps you plan your time. The market, ATMs and bike rental are close. Try Everest 2 Nepali Restaurant and A&E, a Burmese restaurant. Take a flashlight for nights out. Remember sunscreen and a hat! Enjoy. Inle Lake is lovely though Nyeungshwe itself is not.

Ostello Bello looks cute, has a cool interior and a nice rooftop terrace. The staff was very helpful in arranging our boat tour. They organize plenty of tours that you can join if you are traveling alone. The location is excellent in this small town, a short walk from the boat pier. The beds are quite comfortable and sheets clean. The breakfast could be improved. Encountered only nice travelers staying here. Would stay again! Well worth the money.

Fantástico, elegimos una habitación doble, y nos asignaron una con balcón, que nos venia estupendo ya que somos fumadores. Buen desayuno, todo el staff superamable e instalaciones limpias.

Clean room, friendly staff, organized activities, and a rooftop bar to boot. Highly recommend Ostello Bello (Nyaung Shwe and Bagan )!

We stayed in a private twin bedroom for three nights. In general, the room was comfortable, however the bathroom was a bit moldy and made the room smell bad. The staff were friendly and provided a lot of information on activities and restaurants in the area. It was very convenient to join the pre-arranged boat tours. Excellent location for exploring Inle Lake, free coffee & tea all day, and cheap happy hour drinks!

Great stay and great location for walking to restaurants,etc. I had a private ensuite room and was surprised how quiet it was even though it was in a hostel. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Great staff, really good facilities in a big communal area for fellow backpackers. I wish we stayed at there other hostels throughout Myanmar. Definitely will look out for these hostels throughout the rest of my trips

Convenient cheap stay to visit Inle Lake and do the trekking to Kalaw.

Very nice hostel, convenient breakfast, easy to meet other travellers, nice rooftopbar, helpful travel agency. Only negative point: staff doesn't care about people (other hostel guest) who talk & scream outside until the rooster begans to scream. So, one night we didn't sleep much.

We absolutely loved this little place! Great atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, 24hr reception, spare room and common bathrooms/showers to use before check-in time. I can't find any negatives.

One stop shop for all you excursions. Bustling hostel with travelers doing tours. Good place to stay and meet likeminded people. Beds are a little squeaky. Good staff. Good breakfast.

Staff were amazing! Very well run by locals and foreigners! There was plenty to do at the hostel as they regularly organised activities within but also the trips organised by the hostel were great value and also very well organised!! Great place!!

Super guesthouse! Tout est fait pour encourager a la convivialité, super terasse et rooftop sympa. Dans le centre avec un night market a coté. De bons services pas cher pour la visite sur le lac inle. Les chambres sont top, nous etions dans une double, tres propre, menage quotidien, confortable et bon balcon. Personnel top! Free café, the, cigare, eau et meme une petite portion de pate 3 fois par jours. Petit dej bon qui change tous les jours! Je recommande !!!!

Super fint og rent hostel med god placering ift restauranter og cykeludlejning og massage! Deres morgenmad er forskellig hver dag og du får lov til også at prøve noget lokal mad. Jeg havde mulighed for at vælge vegetarisk hvilket var dejligt! Der arrangeres ture hver dag (nogle gratis) Jeg er meget tilfreds og synes prisen her er meget rimelig ift Bagan (halv pris næsten)

Das Ostello Bello ist sehr neu, sauber und sehr zentral in Nyaung Shwe gelegen... Zum Jetty brauch man ca. 5 Minuten zu Fuss und rundherum gibt es tolle Restaurants. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man kommt auch sehr schnell in Kontakt mit anderen Reisenden, was durch verschiedene Themenabende gefördert wird. Würde immer wieder dahin gehen!

Stayed in private room. Was amazing. Great size. Friendly staff and people at hostel range in age (average late 20s early 30s). Not too crazy nightlife, but always something to do. Stayed with them in Bagan and Inle Lake!
