No shower gel no shampoo, no conditioner no Kleenex toilet doesn’t flush and real expensive

Room was relatively clean, there were some things that were definitely missed, but overall was good. One of the nicest hotel rooms we’ve stayed in. Our room wasn’t ready at check in time and cleaning staff was still working which may have been a rushed cleaning job and that’s why things were potentially missed. The location was perfect for our family and we’re already planning our next trip back.

Very nice remodel and beautiful! We only ate breakfast in the restaurant but I highly recommend eating there. We look forward to getting to stay here again.

First I would say I will stay here again however for such an expensive new place there were a few own goals which are inexcusable because they would be so easy to fix. Saint Augustine Beach has in general lousy hotels and always has had overpriced terrible hotels. This a newly renovated hotel which is nice. The parking was easy to do and there was plenty of it. The pool area was small but OK and the hotel is not on the ocean but I assume you would know that from looking on a map. The good bits were the lobby and the general public areas of the hotel were all new and shiny. The room was very big and felt clean which is very important. Nothing much to complain about there. However, there were some silly own goals and as I’ve said I would stay here again but I have no idea why these things happen and an expensive hotel. 1. My room was not available at 4 pm for check-in because of a staff shortage. I finally got in at 4:30 but at least they took off the $20 parking fee. 2. I reserved a king with a partial view and instead got two Queens with a partial view. 3. Coming back to the room at midnight there was a distinct smell of sewage in the bathroom but I was too tired to report it and went to bed instead. 4. At 9 am on Sunday morning you could easily hear loud music in my room on the third floor coming from the restaurant and hotel lobby. Why? How is loud music more important than rest? 5. The shower leaked water all over the floor due to the screen being fitted poorly.

Such a nice hotel. Super affordable and updated. Loved the aesthetic. Check in was easy and great location. Also walking distance to the beach. We will definitely stay again.

Very nicely remodeled by Hilton Tapestry Collection. We'd be happy to stay at the Castillo again. The pool is especially nice, and the view from the upper floor ocean-facing rooms is an added pleasure.

Beautiful and clean . Helpful staff. Convenient to shops, dining. Two minutes walkinf to the beach. Perfect location.

This property was beautifully renovated. And the front desk manager, Ms. Rhonda was absolutely the best. She made us feel welcomed and had a very lovely energy about herself.

Great property, excellent service.

We were promised eBikes, but there were none. The Expedia site touts that their rates include fees like resort fees, but they charged us for the resort fee. I believe that is in the process of being corrected. Also, they had trouble finding our reservation. They blamed any confusion on the "third party sites."

Newly renovated but still have some kinks to work out. Our AC control was not working and we found the Jacuzzi to need cleaning. Once they get all the problems fixed, this will be a great Hotel.
