The building is incredible, showcasing the temple design. The room is large and spacious. The staff were 10/10 - had great food each night. And the option to do yoga and a heritage walk really made the stay special.

Our stay was wonderful! The hotel has an atmosphere that immerses you in Nepalese culture without sacrificing comfort and convenience. Positive points: • Breakfast (amazing) • Staff (the best hotel team I have ever experienced) • Facilities (free yoga classes) • Perfect location, close to everything and easy to get around Negative points: • None I cannot wait to return.

Staffs were nice and welcoming always made sure that we had everything we needed. The property itself is like a sanctuary for us from the crazy city of Kathmandu. Walking distance from the shopping streets and a few steps away from a tour agency. The only problem we faced was airport transfers and communication around that. So, make sure you get in touch with them early on this.

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely establishment. The staff was very attentive and kind. The restaurant was very good and we appreciate the fact that they source organically and locally. The premises and accommodations themselves were what attracted us in the first place, as you feel you are in a different era, being constructed in a beautiful historical style. Very special vibe! We highly recommend the Kantipur Temple House as a rarity amidst all the hotels in the Thamel area.

Hotel war gut, aber das Preis Leistungsverhältnis stimmte leider nicht. 120 Euro für Zwei Personen Pro Nacht ist für Nepal viel zu viel. Dafür muss ein außergewöhnliches Hotel geboten werden. Das war es trotz aller Bemühungen des Personals leider nicht.

I had a really great stay here. First, the building is amazing. Staying in a beautiful setting like this really added to my experience in Kathmandu. Second, the staff is great. From thoroughly cleaning my room each day (more than is typical at a hotel) to making sure my bed was heated at night, they were attentive to all my needs. Third, the breakfast buffet was great. They also augmented it with some Nepali cuisine cooked to order. The only negative is that I seemed to have an allergic reaction to something in the room that caused me to sneeze quite a bit.
