Great place, lovely atmosphere, very helpful caring staff . And the (double pod ) bed was firm but very comfitable. 100% would and have recommended and will return.

Honestly I wouldn't stay here again. The place is impressive for a 'hostel'. They provided towels, and the pods are great especially if you don't want to speak to the other people sleeping and are on a budget. They are comfortable, was warm during the night. The pod area where I was, was quite loud at times throughout the night. Bathrooms and showers are both gender neutral and was just somewhere I wanted in and out of quickly, I wish I had known they were gender neutral before I booked my stay. On one of the days there was an older man who was asking everyone for a toothbrush and stood and watched me as I brushed my teeth. Just made me feel uncomfortable, not unsafe but did put me on edge for the rest of my stay. I stayed for 4 nights and for 3 nights in a row there were no towels in the morning. I honestly wouldn't recommended the pods it if you're a solo woman. I'm sure the rooms are nice though and the communal area is worth seeing, the atrium is beautiful, and the library is lovely as well - although quite small.

We always love the stay here, clean rooms, friendly atmosphere and great location! I will continue to stay here every time we visit Amsterdam. Thank you for making our stay so special, thank you for the drinks!

This place was a little further than I had hoped from the area where I wanted to visit the most. It was an easy Uber ride two and from downtown. I would definitely stay there again because it was beautiful way more than what I expected. I had a single room very small, but had everything I needed. Decor was very nice.

This is a hostel at best, but without hostel amenities (laundry, kitchen, fridge etc). I booked a private room with windows, the layout of the room isn’t ideal. The bathroom in particular needs more counter space. It smelled bad in the halls/my room. There is also no way to control temperature in rooms, and the heating was on quite high. The front desk suggested I just turn on the AC unit in my room (apparently one of the few with these?) and that seemed so wasteful I just kept opening the window. The restaurant stops serving food at 10pm, not very convenient for travellers arriving late. Neighbourhood is very residential but you can find restaurants and bars. Transit to the central station is quick. Overall this wasn’t worth the money spent.

For two nights my room was unbearably hot even with the fan I requested. They moved me to a cooler room for my final night.

Le personnel est très courtois, sympathique et à l’écoute. L’hôtel est bien situé dans un quartier calme et à proximité de la gare Amsterdam Centraal. La chambre (le pod) est bien équipée et propre. Rien à redire de ce côté-là. Seul petit bémol, elle est étroite.

Staff was incredibly courteous, kind, and very hospitable. Clean rooms, loved the mood lighting you could set.

Everything, there are no descriptive words in any language to paint any sort of image of this place as there’s SO much. Ask for a tour, or just wander is my one encouraging piece of advice. The history, the vibes, it’s a true ethereal experience more than a hotel/hostel holiday stay. Healing as well, in many ways. *Dutch customer service is different- other Americans I’m speaking mostly to you, just roll with the chill, the service industry is apparently underpaid and underthanked at a level not like America even, as the 5-star, cozy, amazing service, grace, and hospitality shown are not equivalent to anything you’ve ever experienced in your life. -Ancient church, so much to see, you’ll never know until you come! You only live once, book the ticket, because PRICE < PEACE & MORALS > MONEY. You’ll never be the one who said “I wish I would’ve…” Love! 5- star.

It was a nice hotel. However, the room was cramped and claustrophobic and there were no windows.

Estancia perfecta. Bien ubicado y muy buen hotel. El trato ha sido fantástico. Lo único que habría echado de menos es tener una zona común donde poder algo tipo”cocina”. Ya que en un viaje de muchos días se agradece.

Very cool place! Beautiful interior and rooms small but mostly functional. Bathrooms perhaps a bit too small. I am a fairly slim person and I struggled to get around the door to shower. Also don’t stay with your romantic partner unless you’re very comfortable using the toilet in front of them as there is no real privacy

Struttura fantastica e personale educatissimo, con la metro l’hotel è a 5 min dal centro. Non ho colto il fatto che le pulizie erano ogni tre gg e la stanza compact era areata con grande tecnologia, ma un po’ piccola per noi.

Their hospitality was over the top. They successfully handled my schedule changes to my reservation.
