The hotel is right in the mix of things, large crowds on the street at night, noisy outside, but perfectly quiet inside... so quiet I forgot to put my unusual earplugs in. I had a room facing the water, which turned out to be just a foot or two above it. Beautiful! Highly recommend.

Certainly an individual hotel in an individual building, especially if you are used to 'big chain' groups. Quirky with truly welcoming friendly staff. Loved the idea to allow guests to pop down to reception with their cup and choose a hot drink from the dispenser, although you also have the usual room kettle with sachets of coffee, tea etc. 24/7 reception staff. My room, although compact (I did choose a small double room) was really quiet, the bed so comfortable I managed to oversleep one day (I must get a louder alarm). I chose the room which overlooked the canal basin, very interesting to watch particularly when it became dark. The hotel is right on the edge of the 'red light' district, again makes it easy to just walk out and sightsee. I made a suggestion about a 'tweek' for the shower cubicle and the man on reception agreed it should be passed on to their buildings manager - when I return (and I hope I will) it'll be interesting to see if they have done it also I hope it does work!! Thank you all for making my stay so enjoyable.

Great location and clean rooms (although a bit small). The breakfast options are good as well, with a good coffee service during the day. The staff was very helpful

Die Unterkunft ist sehr zu empfehlen. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Zimmer top ausgestattet. Das einzige was ich kritisieren würde ist der Teppichboden. Eine Begründung muss ich hierzu nicht abgeben. Das kann sich jeder selbst ausdenken.

This was a short walk to and from the central train station, so was easy to get in and out of. I wouldn't bring large luggage, though, because the cobblestone streets are hard to maneuver with wheeler bags. I loved the location and could walk around the city freely. It's a short hop to canal tours, the red light district, and a lot of restaurants! You are about 1 mile (1.6 km) from the big art museums or the casino, so that's a bit further. But, there are plenty of shops to stop at along the way or you can enjoy a walk along the numerous canals. The only gripe about my stay is that my room was on the ground level right next to the main strip, so there was noise from outside until about 1 am. And, then a huge delivery truck stopped right outside my window at 7am. If you aren't on the ground floor, you'll probably really appreciate this hotel and the location.

Oda temiz , yatak rahat. Duş biraz küçük ama kısa konaklama için sıkıntı değil, havlular iyileştirilebilir. Gayet merkezi ve canlı bir caddede. 100eur girişte deposito book edilmesi çok mantıklı değil hiçbir service sunmuyorlar. Kahvaltıyı yandaki pancake dükkanında alıyorsunuz ve yeterli 4 opsiyon var 2 tatlı 2 tuzlu, uzun konaklamalarda sıkıcı olabilir aynı şeyi yemek. Certainly an individual hotel in an individual building, especially if you are used to 'big chain' groups. Quirky with truly welcoming friendly staff. Loved the idea to allow guests to pop down to reception with their cup and choose a hot drink from the dispenser, although you also have the usual room kettle with sachets of coffee, tea etc. 24/7 reception staff. My room, although compact (I did choose a small double room) was really quiet, the bed so comfortable I managed to oversleep one day (I must get a louder alarm). I chose the room which overlooked the canal basin, very interesting to watch particularly when it became dark. The hotel is right on the edge of the 'red light' district, again makes it easy to just walk out and sightsee. I made a suggestion about a 'tweek' for the shower cubicle and the man on reception agreed it should be passed on to their buildings manager - when I return (and I hope I will) it'll be interesting to see if they have done it also I hope it does work!! Thank you all for making my stay so enjoyable.

This is a very basic hotel, but the staff are lovely and accommodating. My room was possibly the smallest I’ve ever stayed in in a hotel. But it was clean and well looked after. One thing to keep in mind is if carrying your own suitcases is a problem, there are a lot of little steps and it would be very difficult to be dropped off in front of this particular hotel as it’s on a busy street that’s shut down much of the time.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr zu empfehlen. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Zimmer top ausgestattet. Das einzige was ich kritisieren würde ist der Teppichboden. Eine Begründung muss ich hierzu nicht abgeben. Das kann sich jeder selbst ausdenken.

This was a short walk to and from the central train station, so was easy to get in and out of. I wouldn't bring large luggage, though, because the cobblestone streets are hard to maneuver with wheeler bags. I loved the location and could walk around the city freely. It's a short hop to canal tours, the red light district, and a lot of restaurants! You are about 1 mile (1.6 km) from the big art museums or the casino, so that's a bit further. But, there are plenty of shops to stop at along the way or you can enjoy a walk along the numerous canals. The only gripe about my stay is that my room was on the ground level right next to the main strip, so there was noise from outside until about 1 am. And, then a huge delivery truck stopped right outside my window at 7am. If you aren't on the ground floor, you'll probably really appreciate this hotel and the location.

The hotel is right in the mix of things, large crowds on the street at night, noisy outside, but perfectly quiet inside... so quiet I forgot to put my unusual earplugs in. I had a room facing the water, which turned out to be just a foot or two above it. Beautiful! Highly recommend.

Oda temiz , yatak rahat. Duş biraz küçük ama kısa konaklama için sıkıntı değil, havlular iyileştirilebilir. Gayet merkezi ve canlı bir caddede. 100eur girişte deposito book edilmesi çok mantıklı değil hiçbir service sunmuyorlar. Kahvaltıyı yandaki pancake dükkanında alıyorsunuz ve yeterli 4 opsiyon var 2 tatlı 2 tuzlu, uzun konaklamalarda sıkıcı olabilir aynı şeyi yemek. Resepsiyondaki çalışanlar kaba değil , ama hollandada gördüğümüz en arkadaş canlısı olmayan insanlar olabilir.
