Well placed location, good value

Comfortable bed and good utilities. Close to centre and restaurants

The Usual was perfectly located for walking around to all the sights. The lobby/lounge was a great space for enjoying a book, playing a game, or enjoying a drink.

Chambre propre mais literie inconfortable, fenêtres non ouvrables donc sensation oppressante. La chambre n'est faite par l'équipe ménage que tous les 3 jours!!!! pour des raisons, soi-disant écologiques, mais surtout écoNoMiques, car on peut demander des servittes supplémentaires sans problème..... Personnel au bar très désinvolte voire désagréable (pas d'accueil, vous vous débrouillez avec des bornes). Un matin au petit déjeuner la jeune femme devait avoir fait la fête la veille, elle a réaussi à me faire 2 cafés en baillant bouche ouvert et en traînant des pieds : une image d'"After" plus que d'hôtel de ce standing!!!!! Et pour les jeunes femmes que j'ai identifiées comme les managers : hautaines et inaccessibles : elles forment les nouveaux devant les clients sans s'interrompre pour servir : il faut attendre qu'elles finissent, accoudées nonchalamment au bar, sous le regard gêné des nouveaux qui eux-mêmes ne comprennent pas pourquoi elles évitent les regards des clients. Bref une attitude très déplaisante. Globalement, pour un endroit qui se veut tendance, et friendly, on a surtout de l'optimisation économique sous prétexte de sauver la planète, mais sans contact humain, ou un contact volontairement arrogant.

Clean and convenient, good location, quiet

The toilets and showers were very clean! The pod was also as we expected. The only thing we disliked was that the ventilation in our pod wasn't working correctly, so it got very hot in there and we also got headaches in the morning. In general it was a great experience, but due to the poor ventilation, I wouldn't stay longer than a night. The location is also very central in Rotterdam, so it is easy to walk around in the city.

Great stay! Would recommend to anyone

My daughter and I stay for a week and their lounge area was amazing. After sightseeing all day we enjoyed playing cards and having drinks on the comfy couches and seats. Their menu was great and affordable. Good location with short walk to the train station and the market.

All great for minimalists and those who likes privacy and no everyday room service. Clean, great service, good location. However, no tea/coffee/kettle/hairdryer/no everyday room service. Beddings, pillows were great, very comfortable.

Great hotel with mostly friendly staff. Lobby area is great and working stations really help if you travel for work.

Clean room and great location

My stay at this hotel was deeply disappointing from start to finish. Service felt indifferent, even careless. At check‑in, staff gave no information about breakfast or cleaning, and no housekeeping was done during my stay. When noise from nearby rooms became unbearable, I asked for help. A staff member named Evan promised to check but never asked for my name or room number. Later, he investigated the wrong room entirely, and despite my follow‑up, never came to mine. The inconsistent attitude—especially when compared with how he handled another guest—was striking. The room itself was poorly maintained: no kettle, no fridge, no tissues, weak lighting, and unstable shower temperature. At dawn, the air turned icy, yet guests couldn’t adjust the heating because it was centrally controlled. Even small conveniences were missing, making the space uncomfortable and cold in both atmosphere and design. The environment was equally unpleasant. The walls let in constant noise from pipes, doors, and passing conversations. The lobby, open to the public as a makeshift lounge, was crowded and loud, leaving no peaceful corner for guests to rest. Breakfast was the final let‑down—barely more than eggs, with few pastries and no fruit variety. The menu listed muffins, but staff claimed they cost extra. Tables were sticky and uncleared. For a hotel that calls itself sustainable, the practice of using disposable bathroom cups and motion‑sensor lights that switch off mid‑shower felt stingy instead.

Really impressed with hotel. Great location, atmosphere and very clean. Bonus that there was a washer and dryer available for a small fee. Would definitely stay there again and recommend.
