We check in so late and manager still wait us. The hotel is located on the heart of Alexandra, the room is very clean.

Overnight stay - no problems.

Unfortunately paid in advice then needing to leave 1 day earlier a refund was refused as they need 48hrs which isn’t always possible . NEVER pay

Easy to access on way in to town supermarket right next door good staff.. parking can be tight if full.. but otherwise ok

All was good. We enjoyed our stay and had no issues.

Property was fantastic in arranging for a very late check in.

I was warmly welcomed and cared for following a harrowing day on a motorbike adventure trip. Food was excellent. It felt like a home away from home.

Bed was uncomfortable, felt very old. I went to the restaurant onsite for dinner the first night and the chicken parmigiana was awful for the price I was paying. I went to go for breakfast in the morning but they weren't doing a hot breakfast, only Continental. Room was nice, tidy and well maintained and the area was quiet.

Our room was on the first floor. It was a hot day but none of the windows had window restrictions, so I had to keep them shut, especially the one that was in my girls’ bedroom right next to a side walk. Also there was a smoky window across one wall that was about my waist to shoulder height in the bathroom. I didn’t feel comfortable taking a shower with the light on at night. The bathroom was also next to the side walk.(there is a fence but there is a big gap for anyone to walk in right up to the window.) The window needs a blind or a small curtain. Probably,, Alexandra is a safe town and I don’t need to worry about any one breaking in or peeping, but as a visitor, I was so uncomfortable. The shower only had curtains to separate from the sink and toilet, which was fine but the drainage was in the middle of the bathroom, not under the shower, nor angled. It made wider area of the bathroom wet. After my shower I had to clean up for others to use toilet and sink…. I was so bothered by it because we had a long drive that day. I stayed at many hotels in New Zealand. I was ok with most of them but I had too many problem with this one. I will never go back.

We thought it was good value for money. It was clean and tidy and the beds were comfortable. Convenient location as well.There were a couple of issues though.It was a very hot day and we didn't realise until after 9pm that the fridge wasn't working. The fridge switch on the wall was on but it wasn't until we pulled the whole fridge out from under the bench that we found the plug into the wall near the floor was turned off. Also no cutting knives, not even a bread knife. Found out later that these are kept at reception and you have to ask for them but how is anyone to know that. Never had that happen before. Both these things occurred later at night when no-one in reception.

no heat pump/aircon, we had 2 x 30 plus days, very uncomfortable.

The room was compact but clean and tidy. Two bedside fans helped to keep the room cool. Staff were very helpful and friendly. My only concern is the shower floor was slipperry when wet, which I think was hazardous. I believe showers should be provided with rubber, non slip mats. Many thanks Kay

Easy parking and near NW and Woolworth!

Quiet place but let down by bathroom taps that were impossible to turn off fully, so hot and cold water wasted throughout 3 day stay. Housekeeping should check this before guests arrive as part of their routine.
