Oakridge Resort Wanaka

Enjoyed our stay here. Soaking into hot pools after the Roy's peak hike was magical. The breakfast buffet was great too with multiple options. Room had beautiful mountain views.

The stass was very friendly and helpful. Everything was great. It was nice to have a full kitchen and a washer and dryer in the unit. The beds are very comfortable

Over the top expensive for a very small room. Felt unsafe with being on the ground floor, not being able to open the window as no screens (anybody could easily get in). Bed was hard. Spa not working in the pool area. Breakfast only open til 9am. Only good aspect was the nice reception area.

Adequate but not 4*

Paid nearly £200 for one night in a small basic room. I understand that we booked late and the town was busy. However, we were only staying for one night and the only facility we were really interested in was the restaurant. On arrival at around 4pm we were informed that the restaurant was fully booked and if we wanted to eat we would need to go into town. When we visited the bar at around 7pm we noticed that the restaurant was relatively empty. On enquiry we were informed that the hotel only had one chef and they were busy because two coach trips were staying at the hotel and therefore could not accommodate other guests. In my opinion important decision making facilities such as restaurants should if advertised always be available. When I complained the following morning the staff were clearly uninterested.

Room needed vacuuming. Location was great. Close to Queenstown. Could not eat there as they were booked solid. Little disappointed

Das Hotelresort ist in die Jahre gekommen. Bsp. die Pool Anlage. Von 5 Hotpools war einer defekt. Bei den anderen vier gab es kein Sprudel. Obwohl Düsen vorhanden waren. Ich habe für ein Zimmer CHF 215 bezahlt. Viel zu teuer im Vergleich zu anderen Möglichkeiten in Neuseeland. CHF 100.- wäre der Max. Preis den ich bezahlen würde. Ich buchte das Resort, weil es Luxery stand. Das Personal war ok aber nicht gerade flexibel. Das Zimmer war um 15 Uhr bereit. Ich war mit meiner Frau um 11 Uhr dort und sie teilten mir mit, dass ich erst um 15 Uhr einchecken kann. Als ich 14.40 Uhr nochmals nachfragte, war sie etwas genervt. Die Waschmaschine Laundery funktionierte auch nicht so wie wir es erwartet haben. Rechts oder Links Geldeinwurf, wir wussten nicht ob Rechts für Tumbler oder Waschmaschine war. Dann klemmte es mit dem Geldeinwurf. 1 Std. später hat sie dies beschriftet, welcher Coin für welche Waschmaschinentyp war. Zuguterletzt hatten wir eine grössere Spinne auf unserem Bett. Cool, als ich diese einfangen wollte, kroch sie unters Bett.

Clean room. Staff lovely. Great amenities. Highly recommend.

Shower didn’t work properly The toilet is next to glass shower door, You need to seat sideways to do your thing There is no wifi , unbelievable? unfortunately there are still places that don’t have a working wifi

Great value, excellent accommodation, nice to have 1BR apartment to spread around in. 3 km from town, only annoyance is wifi was incredibly bad and the property is in something of a cellular “hole” so neither data connection worked very well. May be unique to our unit (103h but would be a problem if we were staying for more than a few nights or needed to work.

Hôtel est bien avec salle de sport et piscine par contre le lit légèrement mou.

Not walking distance to town average room, minimal room amenities, shower was in the bath
