The room was pretty dated and not very clean. It was a decent stay for the price

I hate to give a low score but want others aware of what the situation is. There are no toilets or showers in the rooms, a single toilet and shower are shared by all the guests who identify as male. I do not know if it is the same for those who identify differently. You do need to have your own toiletries as well. The check in process w

What a charming hotel with very friendly staff. Right in the centre of this beautiful little town. Cosy , but clean room with a lovely verandah where I sat to have my morning cuppa.

Check in process was long and didn’t seem very well organised… maybe someone in training?

Excellent stay. Beautiful weather. Only thing would be instructions for checking out in the morning. No one about. Finally found the chef who took the key from me . Other then that is the prime shot in taken to hang out. Will visit again.

Was excellent,unfortunately due to its age, which was beautiful thete is no sound proofing, we were above the bar. However service and food were amazing.

Bed was sub standard for an accomodation provider and linen poor. Great food at the restaurant and the staff were fantastic overall but under pressure.

It was nice staying there as everything is very close to the accomadation and staff is very friendly

The toilets and shower down the hall. The bass beat in the music went right thru us even in the bed

Funky cool vibe for a good price. Would have appreciated a mattress pad under the sheets, and a newer bed cover, but great location, friendly staff, and considerate guests made it a good spot for visiting Raglan.

Great atmosphere. Accommodation on second floor, great balcony to view the town and beyond. Lounge area with tea and coffee. Clean with the charm of old, renovated, to have mod cons. Friendly welcoming environment. Would gladly come back.

Beautiful hotel from the outside and very historic. Shared one toilet for 8 rooms and found it gross that no hand soap was supplied ianywhere. Assumed soap would be in toilet, but no. Nice there was an electric kettle in a common room for all the rooms to share but since no one could wash their hands ……. Also no way to fill the kettle with water

The iconic landmark in my favourite hangout still is the HVH!!!

Great pub

Bedroom was good, with comfy bed. Bar and restaurant staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. Only complaint was the condition of the Guest Lounge. Broken and dirty coffee mugs, no teaspoons, out of date milk in fridge, TV that didn't go and an overflowing rubbish bin, not emptied when I was there. Also, women's shower needed used towels removed and drain appeared to be blocked.
