Can not sit out side after 10 pm. It has singe that please quiet after 10 pm. So, We talk very quiet and some staff just open the door and said we can not sit out side and turn off the light. No Kitchen for cooking, First, It use to have one. But, when hotel try to open own bar and bistro. Hotel use the kitchen that use to for guests instead. Last one, Hotel has terrace that can sit out side. But, you can not sit if you not order any food even after bistro close.

Worth the price

The room was more basic than basic. The towels had seen better days, not enough pillows, only 1 for each person, and there was no light blanket to use as a throw. The shower curtain was too short for the shower box causing water to flow all over the floor. The icebox couldn't be used because the ice was so thick, it looked like it hadn't been defrosted for 2 plus yrs at least. When getting into bed there was a lonnnnnng strand of black hair on the bottom sheets and Lastly you can hear the peeps above you stomping all over the floor, dumping heavy suitcases, the floor above constantly creeked when they stomped around....

Staff were very friendly and location is near town. I always found a car park too. The driveway is a legendary climb; dont carry a suitcase up unless you were born on Krypton. Free breakfast was simple but I enjoy muesli, yoghurt, toast etc. Very noisy people at night was a pity, even though there are notices threatening fines and eviction. Bathroom size and the door below standard. Okay if you're budgeting.

Very good for backpackers. Not a best property for family. There were many problems during the stay. Room was small for 4 people to stay. Bathroom door was unlatching from sliding panel, hole in the bathroom wall. Could hear foot steps of people walking on above floor.

Click bait. By the photos. Alot more run down than expected and alot more less space. My fault. I went cheap. Photos need to be updated. Front counter ladynwas awesome and understandable about how the photos dont show. Ask for sheets for the fold out bed. None could be found anywhere

Staff very helpful. Stansard of maintenance in the rok. Poor.

Breakfast was basic but good and plenty of food for all guests Share room for 4 people small and ensuite tiny, too small to be functional

The staff were great. The room was noisy, the door was falling off in the ensuite. Beds were comfy though and things were pretty clean

There is no housekeeping service if you stay less than 4 days. Located on a steep hill top. If you have difficulty in walking, this place is not suitable.

Coach damaged, bedroom ceiling is only 1.5 meters high, head bumped all the time. Both interior and exterior looked poorly maintained. Lack of care to customers, very small breakfast space.

The overall facility was not as clean as expected. Super loud guests above our room - walking at 11 pm and at 5:20 am back and forth in their room ( or running g a marathon?) thin walls do we woke up hearing the guest next door snoring

Great price and friendly staff. Room was clean and the whole lodge was well kept.

Very old building, no sign of improvement for long time, poorly maintained, cannot say it’s clean and neat.

The room has problem with the shower door and the bathroom entry door and the sink with the mirror in between is the problem as we can not wash our face properly as water falls on clothes and we complain it to the staff for that as well. Thanks

Nice staff. Breakfast was better than I expected. Insufficient parking was a letdown.

It was necessary to go up and down stairs to reach the room, as well as the breakfast room. The toilet in the bathroom would not flush. The lights outside the room which the blinds did not cut out made it difficult to sleep. Also the bed mattresses were quite thin. The double bed was narrow so I used the spare bed. It was not possible to see tvnz1 or tvnz2 on the television. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was easy to park outside the accommodation.
