Fantastic stay. Great location - walk to the Promenade and beautiful sea walk to the Strand. Public bus outside the door directly to Portrush - to see British Open. Clean well appointed room and great breakfast. Thanks JJ and Marie!

5 stars is an understatement. JJ, Marie, and James make Cul-Erg House what it is: an absolute gem. They are warm, kind, professional, and passionate. These values translate into their bed and breakfast. We had outstanding food. Their Irish breakfast and smoked salmon scrambles are all locally sourced and delicious. I learned about wheaten bread from James and haven’t had one that could rival Cul-Erg’s homemade version. Marie is a mighty cook. JJ was a steady presence throughout our stay and was always there when we had a question or needed a recommendation for the area. This place is a must stay.

Close to the sea front and lots of walks. JJ and Marie were superb hosts. Very friendly and efficient. A delightful place to stay.

The property owner is so friendly. The breakfast was ample and delicious. Many choices of dishes to choose from. Overall a very pleasant and restful stay.
