Lovely hotel, beautiful spa downstairs that the kids can use in the morning. Breakfast was good. Nice location - a short walk down the hill into the town for shops, restaurants and tours, but we didn’t mind that.

Cleanliness, friendliness, great spa

We have booked a two bedroom suite for our two nights in Tromsø. We were told that we have been updated to a three bedroom suite when we checked in. When the hotel staff took us to the room we realise it is actually an apartment close to 1km away from the hotel with various slopes we immediately realise that there will be issues when we check out as two of us are carrying four heavy luggages. The hotel staff at that time said they will help us with luggage when we checked out as we needed to take the luggage to the lobby for storage On the following way when we double confirm they said they simply not possible to help as they do not have such resources. Even worse it’s the apartment is quite dusty and have dead bodies of insects. When we went out on the second day we realise that the apartment had not been cleaned at all when we got back. I tried to follow up with the hotel staff they said it may be because the hotel is very busy with a wedding party. I was like is this the right level of service at this price. Not recommend this hotel there is plenty of more new and nice hotel in Tromso

The Saint Elizabeth suites are a perfect place to stay if you are in Tromso. The sweets are modern, brand new, and well appointed. We did not have time to use the spa, but we did take a look and it looks very nice. Worth noting is that there is a full-service restaurant on the top floor with an extraordinary view. We were there during the midnight sun, so we could see far and wide over Tromso and the water. In the later month, no doubt you could see the northern lights right from the restaurant deck. We had breakfast and dinner there the breakfast was a buffet. The food was excellent, and the staff stayed late to accommodate dinner very late. They were truly wonderful. Most importantly, I want to call out Christian at the front desk - he went above and beyond to address everything we needed and was so polite and pleasant. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

It was a good stay with great and hard working staff. A bit understaffed at times for sure. Spaa was nice but had a complex timeslot system that did not really work but was fine for us. Lacked a Sauna... Breakfast could need an upgrade to reach 5-star. Plenty to eat but warm food seemed pre-cooked. No bread bake-off so the loaf of bread was not baked same day - I believe. Overall nice but needs to work on the details to get 5-stars from me.

Sehr gutes Hotel , sauber und die Mitarbeiter und Mitarbeiterinnen waren sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück hatte viel Auswahl und schmeckte sehr gut . Das Hotel kann ich weiterempfehlen.

L’hôtel est très bien, les chambres luxueuses et parfaitement propres. Un vrai problème d’organisation au restaurant. Le ou les cuisiniers sont très bons, cela ne fait aucun doute par contre attendre 3/4 d’heure pour une salade et 2 burgers alors qu’il n’y a que 10 personnes à servir dans la salle, ce n’est pas normal et c’est sans compter une erreur de commande et l’un des plat servi froid… Quelques petites réparations un peu partout dans l’hôtel font également baisser un peu la note.

Very nice surprise - comfortable, clean and quiet hotel in good price. Amazing spa, big gym, swimminpool with hot water. Great restaurant on the last floor. Only one kilometer from city centre, you can easily walk to Polaria or any other museum. This hotel is one of the hidden pearls of Tromsø, do not miss it.

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was very comfortable, the dinner very, very good and the spa was outstanding. We even had a view from our room. I would definitely recommend it, short stay or long stay.

Very friendly staff, large and comfortable accommodations.

All the staff were friendly and welcoming. The apartment was great and even the welcome gift in the room of a bar of excellent Norwegian chocolate. Spa was great as was the buffet breakfast and dinner. I would recommend it and Tromso to anyone looking for a great holiday.

The hotel is located centrally in Tromsø and easy to reach by a 10 minute buS drive from the airport. We booked a suite which was very comfortable with a lot of space, a kitchen and a washing machine. The staff was very friendly and the dining room for breakfast and dinner has a phenomenal view around Tromsø. The only things that were from our perspective not meeting our expectations for the price was the breakfast and the spa. The breakfast is totally fine but with just a small selection and no offers like cappuccino or other coffee options than filter coffee. The spa was included within the price of the suite. If we would have paid the original fee via booking it wouldn’t be worth the price for us. There is only one steam sauna and one hot tube which is not enough for this price.

It is a very nice hotel. My husband and I have been here for our anniversary and enjoyed a small Suit. Great view out of the window (direction Fjellheisen), very nicely furnished and super comfortable bed. Breakfast The breakfast was nice, but we missed good coffee. Only filter coffee was available. The warm dishes were sometimes a bit cold. Otherwise great. Good and large selection.

Gutes Hotel im Herzen von Tromso für vielerlei Aktivitäten

This is a beautiful hotel with modern rooms, coffee makers, and made service every day. To take advantage of the wonderful spa while you were there. I think the price is a little high, but it’s definitely worth it. My only observation negative is that it is a 1/2 to 1 mile walk to the shopping and restaurant areas. This may not sound far, but when it’s the dead of winter and dark outside, it is a consideration. Taxis in this city or quite expensive.

Disappointing Experience at a “Spa” Hotel As someone who travels extensively across Europe, staying in hotels nearly half the month, I have certain expectations when a property brands itself as a “spa hotel.” Unfortunately, this hotel fell far short. Firstly, I was shocked to find that access to the spa—one of the main selling points of the property—was not included in the price. Charging extra for the spa seems not only counterintuitive but also misleading. For a hotel that positions itself as a spa destination, this is highly disappointing and unlike anything I’ve encountered elsewhere. The rooms themselves lacked basic amenities you’d expect even in a standard hotel, let alone one marketed as upscale. There were no bedside table lamps, facial tissues, or luggage racks. These omissions significantly detracted from the comfort and practicality of the stay. Overall, this property does not justify its branding or price point. I would not recommend it to anyone looking for the comfort and luxury typically associated with a spa hotel.
