Everything was good and I would definitely consider staying again. All the usual boxes were ticked: our room was ready early, it was roomy, clean, tastefully appointed, the breakfast was excellent, the location very good. If I had to find fault and be picky, there are a couple of things which could be improved: First, there was work going on in the hotel - and at 9am there was drilling in the floor below with a heavy masonry bit. The reverberations sounded like it was directly into our bedroom wall. We were on holiday and have earned a lie in - which we expect to be able to enjoy beyond 9am. Second, the communication between the Spa and the Reception was poor. There had apparently been new rules regarding the Spa bookings recently introduced. Spa sessions of 2 hours could be booked in, but depending on the time of day, these were either complimentary as part of your stay, or chargeable extras. We booked two sessions; the first was during a chargeable period, which wasn't explained at Reception when we booked that slot, the second was during a period when the Spa was being cleaned, and so both pools were out of use - again, not explained at Reception when we booked the slot. I can't imagine we were the only guests who have fallen foul of this and the hotel should do better.

De reklamerer for spahotell men som betalende hotellgjest måtte man betale dyrt for å bruke spa avdeling . Vinglass på rom ble heller ikke rengjort fra en dag til neste dag

Clean and fresh. Nice materials. Great restaurant at the lobby. I guess it would not hurt the owners too much if they included some free drinks in the room. Worth the money still.

The hotel was far far too expensive for what it was. Only allowed guests to use the spa for free AM, when the plunge pools were not open; shocking really given the unbelievable price we had paid. Would never ever stay again and would not recommend it to anyone.

Fantastisk rom, rent, moderne, vennlig betjening, god frokost, midt i smørøyet beliggenhet. Dette kommer til å bli vår faste "hybel i byn".

Rooms were nice, staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was good quality.

Es war beim buchen des Hotels nicht ersichtlich, dass die Nutzung des Spas nicht enthalten ist. Man hätte für 40-50 € pro Person für 2 Stunden einen Aufenthalt reservieren können. Das Frühstück war sehr abwechslungsreich und lecker. Die Zimmer waren sehr ordentlich, wir hatten eine Nespresso Maschine auf dem Zimmer. Gute Schallisolierung. Was nicht ganz so angenehm war beziehungsweise aufgefallen ist, dass in der Lobby ein wenig Fischgeruch war. Das kommt vielleicht durch die Zubereitung des Fisches, aber man könnte sich einen Signature Duft zulegen, das würde das Ganze Ambiente noch etwas aufwerten. Aber das fällt vlt auch nicht jedem auf. Außerdem gab es auch einen wunderschönen Hof, den man sicher bei tollem Wetter nutzen könnte.

Perfekt hotell midt i byen. Fine delikate rom. Deilig frokost. Kjempekoselig bakhage. Kan virkelig anbefale.

Our room and bathroom were beautifully designed and modern in a slightly Japanese style. Although compact it was very comfortable and clean. The food in the restaurant was excellent.

This was a stunning hotel and after reading the reviews it did not disappoint! Unbelievably comfortable bed and breakfast was great. At time of stay hotel guests were allowed free access to the spa between 7-10am. Only downside is that all areas of the spa weren’t open. Overall brilliant stay and right in the middle of Bergen.

Great hotel. Great location. Amazing buffet breakfast!!!! Comfortable. Quiet. Love the heated floors. Spa was wonderful to use but confusion when I tried to book a massage (wasn’t successful - online option wasn’t user friendly). Would stay here again.

Hotel is lovely but our room had a tiny bathroom, very uncomfortable.

This was a very nice hotel with excellent facilities including free use of a brolley which came in very handy! Lovely spa and great breakfast. Rooms are on the small size so probably would upgrade next time to a larger room but otherwise couldn’t fault it at all.

Overall very good experience and we would happily staff at the hotel again. The staff were helpful, friendly and were kind enough to give a free room upgrade also. We plan to return as it is perfectly located and short distance to the busier areas, and public transportation. The only reason for 4 star rather than 5 star is simply due to the inconvenience of having to pay for access to the spa and sauna area. This is only free for hotel guests at very limited hours early in the morning on certain weekdays only which isn’t ideal so worth noting for future. Overall, positive experience and would recommend.
