Dette er en et veldig pent og hyggelig hotell med sjarmerende ansatte. Burde få mange besøk. Badstua ved innsjøen anbefales ekstra varmt.

Great views. Sauna available for an hourly rate. Staff and dinner was lovely. Not much in the town so recommend reserving dinner at the hotel. It was delicious and fairly priced, you won’t regret it.

It was amazing from the beginning we were treated with respect and kindness. Very clean and fantastic location. Dinner and breakfast was one of the best meals through our hole trip.it was most local food and drinks prepared by amazing chef. Highly recommended this place ♥️♥️♥️♥️

This place is incredible. Charming, authentic and 110% worth a visit. Don’t skip the dinner if you’re curious about hyper local flavours and an excellent bar menu. It’s worth every penny. We also tried the sauna with a lake dip - a must! They mentioned potential noise, and while you do occasionally hear the neighbours, it really didn’t bother us. Only thing we regret is not booking another night!

Excellent summerhotel with very pleasant service and nice view to mountains. Worth to visit. Got a pretty new room with mountain view and slept well. Thank you, it was nice experience 👍

God service, nydelig kortreist mat i vakre omgivelser. Den omtalte trafikkstøyen ble null problem med øreproppene som fulgte med rommet ( Vi lå med åpent vindu pga den friske fjellufta) Svært komfortable senger. Vi kommer tilbake 😍

Adorable place and people lakeside, opd renovated home several stories as good as it gets for this type of staying stylish relaxing best air, views. We enjoyed it much. Home grown plants used for meals, dessert we appreciated the uniqueness. The setup what can not be changed several rooms has one bathroom is minimally uncomfortable but this is given how the house was built, was not muchnof an issue. They even have lakeside SAUNA that is amazing. Sauna need to be advertised more Its a big add on for a tired traveller. The hotel house also has no sign on it with its name so was not the easiest to find the GPS was correct though. Totally recommend to stay!

Excellent location , fantastic staff!

What a beautiful place to stay! A lovely historic hotel on a fjord surrounded by mountains with waterfalls. Just gorgeous. Very comfortable stay in the beautifully renovated hotel. The breakfast was wonderful. The host Julie was so nice and shared info about the area and the hotel history.

Fantastic location and amazing dinner cooked by chef Julie who made us an amazing vegetarian dinner and accommodated a very early checkout by having an incredible breakfast ready ahead of their regularly scheduled time. Can’t recommend enough.

What an amazing experience! Our stay was beyond expectations, as it felt like we went back in time a century, just to have some time to relax and enjoy the tranquil views! We stayed at Sommerhotellet after completing the Besseggen hike and enjoyed every moment of it! We woke up to chef-level breakfast which was prepared to perfection alongside classical music and a beautiful view! After enjoying breakfast, we were welcomed into the Sauna which is located right on the hotel's private shore. We couldn't have asked for anything more! What an amazing place!

Vi hadde en veldig fin helg på dette superkoselige hotellet. De ansatte var svært imøtekommende og trivelige. Vi var litt skeptiske til å dele baderom, men opplevde dette som uproblematisk. Dette fordi det på badene, som ellers på hotellet, var veldig rent. Utsikten fra spisesalen er helt fantstisk og maten som ble servert var nydelig, både i utseende og smak!

Udmærket mad men fælles bad og toilet på gangen og værelserne spartansk indrettet vinduer piv utætte så træk hele natten og først morgenmad kl.08
