Stay Bryggen - Serviced Apartments

Terrible… do not stay or book this property. We arrived to an unlocked and unsecured building.. security alarm beeping and a sign on the door saying “not close! Door is broken”. We shouldn’t have even continued but wanted to give it a try. The next issues was no elevator and up 3 flights of small narrow spiral stairs with garbage and broken glass on the floor. We carried our 7 large luggage up the stairs to enter the apartment and found that the large room did not have linens and no extra towels or linens were provided for us to even do ourselves. We contacted the property manager asap and advised and let them know this was not safe and we did not feel comfortable staying, they told us, “The unit is safe, as the apartment door is fully secured and can only be accessed using the entry code. Without the code, it is not possible to enter the unit. Rest assured, the unit is secure, and we will also check this with the team for further clarification.” I sent pictures with tape over the door making it incapable of closing and they replied, “ We understand your concern, and we do have another unit available if you would like to move.” I replied, yes of course…then they sent me 2 properties that only had 1 or 2 beds, which was not appropriate for our family of 3 adults and 2 kids. I gave them from 10p-12a to find a place and nothing was appropriate so we had to take our family to a safe hotel at 12a in the rain. They denied my cancellation and I’m currently fighting but this is awful

Leiligheten hadde alt vi hadde behov for, men bratt trapp opp til 4. etg (der andre beboere satt ut tomgods og søppel) og litt dårlig renhold (mye støv under møbler mv) trakk litt ned. Positivt overrasket over hvor lite lyd vi hørte opp til 4. etg., selv om vi bodde midt i sentrum m/serveringssteder osv.

Helt ok, men ingen gardiner og smal oppgang full av klesvask. Inngangen var nærest blokkert av to søppelbøtter som man må manøvrere seg forbi.
