Thon Hotel Lofoten

Among all the hotels I stayed during this Norway trip, this hotel has the best breakfast. The view from the restaurant is also awesome. The staff are super helpful. I definitely will recommend this hotel to friends and family and will stay here again.

One of the Best hotels ever

Nice staff, next to the water, breakfast buffet are the best with the exquisite design restaurant and lobby, able to use free coffee and tea machine either in lobby and restaurant all day and night, find it so convenient. We like the hotel.

Great place!

There are 2 Thon hotel in Svolvær. Thon Hotel Lofoten and Thon Hotel Svolvær.... We spent 3 nights in Thon Hotel Svolvær and 1 night in Thon Hotel Lofoten. All are very near to each other and very close to the Jetty. Clean. Breakfast almost the same every morning

We were given a room on the fourth floor. The window opened to a wall, like no window at all. These rooms should have been clearly specified when been booked.

Insgesamt war ich mit unserem Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel sehr zufrieden. Die Lage ist hervorragend und ausgesprochen zentral. Von hier aus erreicht man einige der spektakulärsten Naturziele der Region ebenso schnell wie verschiedene Unterhaltungsmöglichkeiten und mehrere sehr gute Restaurants, die bequem zu Fuss erreichbar sind. Für Gäste, die mit dem Auto anreisen, steht zudem eine praktische Parkmöglichkeit in der hoteleigenen Tiefgarage zur Verfügung. Wir erhielten freundlicherweise ein Business-Zimmer im obersten Stockwerk, das mit einer wirklich beeindruckenden Aussicht aufwartete. Das Zimmer selbst war sehr ruhig und insgesamt ausgesprochen angenehm. Es ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und vermittelt eine einladende Atmosphäre, in der sich die meisten Gäste sicherlich wohlfühlen werden. Das Badezimmer entspricht allerdings nicht mehr ganz dem Niveau, das man nach heutigen internationalen Standards erwarten würde. Es ist relativ klein, und sowohl die Badewanne als auch das Waschbecken verfügen über Abflüsse, die nicht mehr optimal funktionieren. Bei der Badewanne scheint der Ablauf sogar defekt zu sein: Beim Duschen läuft das Wasser offenbar teilweise unter die Wanne, anstatt korrekt abzufliessen, und tritt anschliessend wieder auf dem Boden davor aus. Das ist etwas überraschend und dürfte auch für das Gebäude selbst nicht ideal sein. Der Haartrockner stellt zudem nach etwa zwei Minuten Betrieb auf der höheren Stufe seine Funktion ein – vermutlich müsste lediglich der Lu

hotel is right in the center of the town, nice view of the water and mountains. Excellent breakfast with variety of foods, you will find something you like. Next to the pier for easy boarding of the cruise ship.

Das Zimmer war relativ klein, aber ok für nur 1 Nacht. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend.

Great location! Just a 100-metre walk from the cruise terminal in Svolvær. The family room was spacious and the breakfast was delicious with both hot and cold dishes, perfect for Asian tastes. Highly satisfied!
