La Coralina Island House

The food was amazing. The resort is beautiful.

3.5 star Beautiful property. The grounds were well maintained. Room was nice. We had some minor maintenance issues like a leaky toilet but only a minor inconvenience. Food was pretty decent we had lunch while we waited to check into our room. The beach club is about 10 minutes away was nice with pretty good food and a great beach. Cons: No beach near property really. Minor con because the beach club was really fun. The biggest problem is the fact that they nickel and dime you. An example is that the property has a driver and vehicle. We went to dinner 10 mins away and they charge you 20 dollars plus tip each way for a mile each way. That should be complimentary for guests less the tip. But ok, if you’re going to charge at least be in line with what a cab would be which is 1/2 that. And the spa….i mean this was a little eye opening. 200 for a 1/hr basic massage. That’s double what we paid in Panama City at a luxury hotel. And look, I’m a capitalist charge what you want but at least disclose the prices. No pricing on the menu and nothing stated up front for a very expensive service for what it was. It’s cheaper at the Four Seasons in most markets. Overall, place is nice. I think they need to clean some things up because we left feeling taken advantage of. But I also want to be supportive of what the area is trying to become as it has a lot of potential. We won’t stay there again but I wouldn’t deter someone from staying there.

We felt in love with this place! Yoga , SPA , perfect dining. Everything exceptional in La Coralina! Will come back for sure!

The breakfast menu was excellent and the fruit local and fresh. The room overlooked the beach and was close enough to hear the sounds of the waves. The shower didn't work in our room. Pointed it out to management but it was never fixed. Probably still isn't. Don't get assigned room 101.

Amazing stay! Everything about this hotel exceeded my expectations. We got a free upgrade. We were celebrating my daughter’s Birthday. They had a small cake and champagne for us in the room. I got the hot stone massage Oriental Medicine and it was spectacular while in a hut in the rain forest.

All espectacular, attention very good. But we had and incident about 10pm last night someone attempted to enter our room without any previous notice or warning, someone was truung to open the door with another key, I had to block the door from inside and ask Twice, they only responded open the door which I did not, latter they said we are from Maintenance and left. We called security and front desk later about 10 Min they arrived an search the property. Hard to get some sleep after that. On the positive side spa this morning was amazing !!!

Fantastic stay. Clean rooms, beautiful property, great service, good food and cocktails, excellent front of house staff for arranging transportation. The views from the main restaurant, beach bar and ocean front room, were well worth it. Watching the surfers was very entertaining. Staff went above and beyond, including making sure we caught our water taxi and driver, to organizing a tv to watch the Super Bowl. The only caution would be that the hotel is out of the action. We appreciated the distance from the busy part of Bocas town, but others may not.

Unbelievable all around experience, loved every aspect of it and most certainly will be back!!!

Beautiful property. The food and menus left a lot to be desired. It was a “western-inspired” menu. There were no local, Panamanian and/or Caribbean options. Both the beaches at the resort and their beach club (20+ minute drive) were too rough for swimming. It was not worth the money!

The property is beautiful with many amenities. The staff is both friendly and helpful.

Food was mediocre and overpriced for Panama, and given the hotel's location there is little you can do. The room, grounds and location were very nice. Problem with cleaning our room one day. They tried to rectify it but it was already late afternoon.

Mini-wellness retreat place with yoga and meditation included. Very nice view rooms and good food. Luxury hotel excellent for resting and enjoying the place.

The property itself is beautiful - quiet, peaceful, and perfect if you’re looking to relax and disconnect a bit. The room was in great shape and very comfortable. There's no direct beach access from the hotel, but right out front you'll find a surf spot. Even if you don't surf, watching the surfers battle the waves is oddly entertaining and a great way to spend time doing nothing (in the best way). The hotel offers a shuttle to a lovely sandy beach, which is a nice touch. Just a heads-up: the waves can be pretty intense, so swimming is mostly for the brave, the confident, or the slightly reckless. Last but definitely not least - the staff. Seriously amazing. Everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely kind.

Excelente servicio y atención al cliente. La comida deliciosa y las instalaciones son hermosas, un lugar totalmente recomendado.

Honestly I can’t say enough great things about this property. We LOVED it - truly. Staff was great, food was excellent and the spa was awesome. We were trying to decide between here and Red Frog - SO glad we picked La Coralina. A truly exceptional experience.

Die Hotel Anlage ist ein Traum. Es gibt einen Pool mit Blick in den Wald und einen mit Blick aufs Meer. Direkt vorm Hotel gibt es keinen großen Strand, aber es gibt einen Shuttle zu einem wunderschönen breiten Sandstrand mit einer Beachbar.

Nydelig hotell med flott beliggenhet. Vakker hage med nydelig beplantning. Ingen strand ved hotellet, men man blir kjørt til to private Beachklubber eid av hotellet. Nydelig mat og veldig hyggelig betjening. Men en stor minus var at vi fikk rom på bakken. Mørkt og fuktig. Det luktet surt av sengetøyet på grunn av fuktighet. Dette trakk en god del ned.

Una verdadera desilusión. Se vende como un resort exclusivo de lujo y nada más lejano de la realidad. No creo que regrese.
