Very enjoyable stay for myself and colleagues. We invited customers for dinner and everyone was looked after just perfectly. Thanks to the team at Madang Resort.

Very nice staff. Very friendly. Beautiful location. Snorkeling was terrific

The hotel was comfortable with beautiful grounds. The shower in my bathroom leaked water under the wall to the underside of the sink. It didn't affect my stay but it revealed the age of the room. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpful and courteous.

Great help from the staff in planning my activities and tours and shootout to busybee for getting all the activities sorted and being a great tour guide!

Madang Resort is a beautiful sprawling property but it needs to be properly maintained and restored to its former glory. I think the towels, bedsheets and pillow cases need to be replaced with new ones...

Helpful staff was the best also the gardens hats off to the gardners as well

Great staff, great good and Drinks. Unfortunately No beach and WiFi Just for a couple of hours. But in total a really good stay 👍👍

The view to the neighbouring island (Karanget) was spectacular. Location of the resort is walking distance to madang town and is convinient.

Great facilities. Nice location in Madang town. Friendly staff. However when booking via expedia I was told there would be a free air port shuttle. Upon checking out I was made to pay for said shuttle. :) Around 10 USD.

We enjoyed our stay at the Madang Resort. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was very comfortable, and the water views and swimming pool were delightful. The dive shop also had helpful, professional staff and the snorkeling and diving was excellent. We would gladly stay again.

The room in lodge type is so comfortable and could be relaxed myself with green garden and sea in front side.

Well maintained older property with an incredible staff, excellent food and beverages and prime location with breathtaking view of Madang harbor.

I travel for business everywhere in this region.... honestly, this resort is a 9 out of 10.....really a must stay!

What a fantastic location! The resort is located right on the waterfront with lush gardens and spectacular views. It is also within easy walking distance to the town centre, markets and the Lighthouse. There are lots of artefacts available nearby. We highly recommend the waterfront rooms, we saw dolphins from our balcony. The resort has a good restaurant and very friendly and professional staff. The islands and surrounding reefs are easily accessible. A very relaxing stay!

The place is beautiful and comfortable with a very large saltwater pool. The food was good, but a bit pricey. However, you could go out the gate to a nearby park and buy fried fish and other foods. The market is close by, too. Any place calling itself a "resort" and costing what it costs should have hot water, though. But the cold water showers were invigorating. They have a cuscus and a hornbill that are in very tiny cages which need cleaning. They should treat their animals better. It would be cool if they let the cuscus wander freely among the trees there. The landscaping is nice and so are the decorations and various wood carvings. The bed was very comfortable. The free shuttle from and to the airport was timely.

Best place to stay in Madang. Wonderful staff, lovely spacious room, great location, tasty complementary breakfast, clean swimming pool, lovely food, great diving through the resort's dive center and great tour guide for local village tour. All round great choice!

Great hotel in perfect location to Madang town center.We really enjoyed our stay at the Madang Resort Hotel. We only intended to stay for one night but enjoyed it so much that we stayed much longer. The staff are absolutely wonderful, they are genuine and excellent at what they do. Toby and Vince made as feel really welcome and they looked after us really well whilst we were there and they were always great to chat to - they want the very best for their guests and this was obvious. Nathan the scuba instructor was fabulous, an excellent dive master, we were so happy that he was available to take us diving through the resort's dive center. Busybee is the best tour guide in town. He is very well known in Madang and is able to take you to places you would otherwise miss out on. The breakfast was lovely, the grounds are extremely well kept and the swimming pool was relaxing. This is an all round excellent place to stay.

Absolutely lovely resort with wonderful grounds, relaxing swimming pool, world class diving options, complementary breakfast and spacious rooms with a view.It is an older resort and in time will benefit from a bit of maintenance but it really is a wonderful place to stay. We were able to book great diving through the diving center based at the resort and a wonderful excursion to a village and jungle trek through the hotel's tour desk.This hotel is best in town for location, amenities, staff, excursion and diving options. It made our time in Madang perfect - thank you

This hotel is an absolute hidden gem and we LOVED staying here. The staff at this hotel are wonderful (Toby, Vince, BCB and Scuba Nathan) and made our stay perfect. It is an older resort with the most stunning grounds that are beautifully maintained,with lots of sunny or shady areas to relax and enjoy. It has an awesome swimming pool that we enjoyed cooling down in and our room was spacious, quiet and a great place to retreat to after a day of scuba diving with the resort's dive center. The complimentary breakfast has something for everyone, including tropical fruit salad, sausages, eggs, pastries and cereal which was an added bonus to our stay. We loved it here and wish we could have stayed longer.
