Hôtel très calme avec un magnifique jardin et une plage quasi privée.
La chambre Bohol House avec sa piscine privée est superbe.
Le personnel est très aimable.
Kayak à disposition que nous avons utilisé deux fois pour rejoindre une petite plage et faire du snorkeling.
Demi journée à l'île de Balicasag permettant un bon snorkeling.
Cet hôtel permet de séjourner sur Panglao à l'écart d'Alona beach
Le restaurant a des prix très corrects,le service est un peu lent.
Nous sommes très satisfaits d'avoir choisi cet hôtel.

Located near the spectacular beaches of Panglao in Bohol, Amarela Resort promises guests a laid-back island experience that’s truly memorable. This boutique resort offers chic accommodations filled with antique furniture and local art pieces. Additionally, the hotel supports green and sustainable practices.
Several room options are available in the hotel: Superior Room, Deluxe Queen, Deluxe Twin, Antequera, Samia, and Amarela. Overall, there are 30 guestrooms and one pool villa that can accommodate two to three people. Each room has an air conditioner, a cable TV, a phone, a minibar, an in-room safe, and coffee and tea making facilities. En suite bathrooms have fresh towels and basic bath essentials as well. Some rooms have balconies where guests can enjoy the beautiful view of the sea. WiFi can be accessed from every room at no extra charge.
Guests will surely enjoy the hotel’s facilities. The on-site restaurant boasts of scrumptious seafood dishes and authentic Pinoy favorites. Breakfast sets and desserts can also be ordered there. Outside, there is a garden growing herbs and vegetables such as eggplants, tomatoes, and basil.
Other must-visit areas in the hotel include the art gallery and library. The gallery showcases antique furniture, sculptures, and intricate paintings. On the other hand, the library houses more than 2,000 books which include fiction and non-fiction originals. DVDs and board games can also be enjoyed there.
Amarela Resort is 2.61 kilometers away from Bohol Bee Farm. Alona Beach and Hinagdanan Cave, two of the must-visit sites in Bohol, are also in close proximity to the hotel. They are 4.27 and 6.89 kilometers away from the resort.

The property and amend tira are excellent. Amazing breakfast and friendly staff. But, beach in the properly is not quote good dor swimming, a but rocky. You can hang out and relax thought in one of the hammocks in the beach

We had a great time at this fantastic property. The staff have been absolutely amazing, always with a smile on their face and ready to help. The atmosphere around the resort was very peaceful, the room was spotless and the direct access to a private beach was a bonus as you don’t need to fight for a place. The swimming pool was perfect size and there is also free snorkelling equipment available as well table tennis, kayaks and hammocks. You can arrange tours around the island at the reception - we did the countryside tour. There is only one restaurant but it is exceptionally good with a beautiful view so no need to look further. I could go on and on but all that’s left to say is thank you to all the staff for making our holiday so special, really a gem of a place! Salamat!!

Wunderschönes, gepflegtes und mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtetes Hotel. Das Personal ist sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit. Direkter Zugang zum Strand (nicht barrierefrei, da kurzer Abstieg über Stufen). Der Strand ist sehr schön. Zugang zum Meer jedoch recht steinig und ohne Badeschuhe beschwerlich.
Umgebung: wenig touristische Infrastruktur. Mit dem Trike fährt man circa 8 Minuten bis zum Alona Beach an dem es zahlreiche Restaurants und Bars gibt. Kosten: 200 PHP pro Strecke.
Verpflegung: Frühstück sehr lecker und mit einer guten Auswahl. Generell eine gute Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken.
Wir empfehlen das Hotel für 3-4 Nächte um Bohol zu entdecken und eventuell ein bis zwei Strandtage einzulegen. Das Hotel ist für all diejenigen geeignet, die nicht in der lauten Umgebung von Alona sein möchten und eher einen ruhigen Rückzugsort wünschen. Wir würden definitiv wiederkommen.

Art and antiques abound in a well decorated resort. Lush and green, wonderful pool and a beachfront; you can't help but be impressed with the layout and excellent staff. My suite was full of light airy with two balconies. If you want quiet at night, this is it. View is amazing: WiFi and cable TV not great but available. My one disappointment was their wine selection: terrible! Next time I will bring my own, but in their defense the wine vendor they used went bankrupt, although a 4 star resort should do better. Yes, I would come back because it truly is a great place to visit Panglao.

The resort is fantastic. The environment is great. Everything is beautiful. The staff is friendly and helpful. They helped us to arrange the transportation to the airport and the city center. The restaurant is the best on the island. Don’t waste your money on alone beach for the food. Their restaurant has the next Filipino food. The hotel also has the private beach. So beautiful!!!!!

The resort offers a great ambience, design, food, amenities and most of all the people who serve and provide what you need for your stay.
The pick up in the airport was stress-free and easy. We recognized the driver in a yellow uniform with Amarela signage, and approached us with an umbrella and a big smile going to the van.
We arrived at the resort and warmly welcomed us with drinks and precious smiles of the staff. We were checked in right away upon arrival though our check-in time should’ve been in a later time. Lots of help with our luggages and the spirit of hospitality radiated throughout as we walked into our room.
The design of the resort is elegantly beautiful and the concept of old Bohol is quite fascinating. I love the local art and woodwork that show how rich Filipino culture and traditions are. The whole place is surrounded with vibrant beauty of landscape and colourful flora.
The amenities and facilities offer a sense of the place that is easily accessible and entertaining.
The service in the restaurant was superb, and the food was prepared meticulously and with delightful to our palate.
The staff made our stay comfortable and their amazing service truly what makes this resort a five star and exceptional. From the room service, restaurant, even the art gallery and by the beach—all well-staffed and their assistance was remarkable.
My family really unwind and enjoyed our stay here. Beach is not great though but not far from Alona beach. 5⭐️
