Overall, a great stay. Very friendly staff. Coffee was good. They brought us Filipino snacks every day! Communication was great. AC in the room and bed were very comfortable. The pool on-site was so nice to have after days out trekking and traveling, plus I really appreciated the rack of dumbbells, so I could get a mini-workout in! They have local drivers for tuktuk service, so you can always have a safe and affordable ride, but it's not that far to other restaurants or the main downtown area, you could walk. I would definitely stay here again.

Great room

Hotel Azul in Panglao Island has a few strong positives worth mentioning first. The staff themselves are very kind and polite, the air conditioning works extremely well (probably one of the best features of the room), and the location is excellent—close enough that taxis or motorcycles can get you to all major spots within 5–10 minutes. The hot shower is also solid, and both the mattress and sheets appear fairly new and are comfortable. Unfortunately, the negatives significantly outweigh the positives. Management instructs staff to charge more than what is advertised, which puts the front desk employees in an uncomfortable position and leaves guests feeling misled. The biggest issue was the internet being completely unusable for over 48 hours. I specifically book hotels with internet because I work remotely, and had I known this, I would never have booked here. Instead, I was forced to take taxis every few hours and pay for internet elsewhere, adding unnecessary cost and inconvenience. Another major concern was finding stains on the sheets when I pulled them back. While the bed itself was comfortable, this was very off-putting and unacceptable from a cleanliness standpoint. Breakfast is also nothing to be proud of—overpriced and underwhelming, with far better options available at nearby cafés for less money. Overall, Hotel Azul has good potential due to its location and room comfort, but management practices, unreliable internet, and cleanliness issues make it hard.

Family owned hotel with very nice and helpful staff. Clean, safe and very comfortable. Marisol and Remy (Daughter and Mom) are very pleasant.

Very clean, well managed

This property is a great location. Just far enough away from the beach that is was relaxing but close enough to walk to the beach. Staff were incredible and the accomodations were great. Nice pool, clean rooms and great atmosphere.

The hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. I feel like I made some new friends. We'll never forget the hospitality we received here.

알로나비치까지 거리가 있어 툭툭이를 타자니 가깝고 걸어가면 힘들었어요. 날씨가 안더우면 걸어가면 잼나요. 염소도 구경하고 강아지들도 있고 빠우식당이랑도 가까워요. 깨끗하고 가격대비 좋아요. 근데 4박동안 청소는 안해주셨고 응대는 좋았어요. 아침으로 커피나 차 식빵정도는 무료제공해 주셨어요.

Close to arena where Lanzones festival and concerts play.

The property was very well maintained. The staff were very courteous. We arrived in Bohol without any itinerary on what to do or where to go, but they were very helpful in providing us with a guide of what to do, where to go, places to eat from, and even had the prices of the activities. They also have contacts on rides and boat that made us feel safer. Their personalized touch and thoughtful recommendations made us really feel welcome and special. A great place that everyone should consider.

I love every minute such a beautiful property and the staff were amazing!!!! Definitely will be going back when I return to the Philippines!!!!

작고 아늑하지만 아름다운 호텔입니다 직원들이 매우 친절하고 저녁 비행기로 새벽에 도착했는데도 친절히 맞아주었어요. 아침일찍 고래상어 투어를 가는데 프론트에서 비치타올을 빌려주셨고 항상 바로바로 도움을 주셨어요. 체크아웃 시간이 넉넉해서 근처 맛집인 미스트에도 걸어서 들렀다 올 수 있었습니다. 깨끗하고 친절한 곳이에요.

Check in was quick, room and bathroom were clean, a/c with citronella, hot shower, common area if you do takeaways. Place was walking distance to eateries but bring flashlight at night as there is no sidewalk, about 1 km away from Pangloa Beach, no issues during stay. Staff are friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again.
