Located in Dao Dauis in Panglao Island, Bohol Bee Farm is a resort that doesn’t only provide relaxation to guests but also contributes to the local community by growing organic vegetables. The resort offers guests with total rejuvenation while encouraging local farmers to practice organic farming.
Seven room options are available in the hotel: The Barn, Garden Bungalows, Banana and Avocado Room, The Beehive Suites, The Honeycomb Suites, The Colony 1, and The Colony 2. All rooms come with air-conditioning, a fridge, and a separate shower room. Most of the rooms have designs that are inspired by fruits and vegetables. Some of them have verandas overlooking the lush garden. WiFi can be accessed by the guests from the resort’s public areas.
Bohol Bee Farm also has an on-site restaurant serving dishes that usually come with red rice and salad made from organic vegetables. Some of the guests’ favorites include crabs in coconut sauce and grilled fish. There is also an on-site dessert store that offers ice cream with odd yet good flavors such as malunggay, pandan, spicy ginger, and tomato.
From the restaurant, guests may head to the dive shop. Those who are thirsty for adventure may hire a dive instructor for a session of scuba diving or snorkeling. In addition, there is a pasalubong store where guests can buy honey and tea, baked goodies, as well as local delicacies.
There are a couple of tourist attractions nearby. Hinagdanan Cave and Alona Beach are 6.18 and 6.85 kilometers from the resort, respectively. Meanwhile, the Dauis Watchtower is about seven kilometers away.
