Great location, nice hotel. Not right on the beach, but a very short distance away. It is in the heart of the diving area, so close to the Sardines Run.

Reception Maris was excellent. Guided us with things to do and to go and how! She’s very helpful

No housekeeping for 3 nights. Difficult to get in and out

Great location.

Cleanliness is what stood out for me about this place. The staff does a great job keeping it clean. The only downside is hearing the locals by your window (I was on the main floor) which can interrupt your sleep.

The staff are very kind & friendly and hotel is very close to beach and dining area.

Hotellet var fint med en god beliggenhed. Personalet var altid hjælpsomt og virkede kompetent. Hotellet tilbyder også et udvalg af scootere til leje til rimelige priser. Vores værelse var lidt slidt og småt, men rent. Der var dog ingen solrige terrasser, da alle var i skygge.

Booked a two night stay at D’Gecko from March 5th-7th. Location of the hotel is great and the staff are friendly, but that’s about everything that is good about this hotel. Bed sheets were stained from overuse and so were the towels. The shower was interesting… either freezing cold or scalding hot. Comes out as a drizzle or as a jet depending on how it’s feeling. Would not recommend staying here unless your other option is a hostel. Oh, I guess another pro is that they have a water cooler in the hallway, so I will give them that.

We had an enjoyable stay at D'Gecko Hotel. The location was great, and the room was clean and comfortable. Regarding the slippers to be used in the room - we thought this was a good idea to avoid common areas getting sandy/dirty - however we just wish they'd provided larger sizes of slippers!

Nice place and great location

Property was very close to the beach only a 2-4 min walk from prime snorkeling areas. Restaurants near you, but with enough distance from high trafficed areas and noise from restaurants. Sadly because of the lack of 24 hour front desk staff and no phones to call anyone our experience here was ruined by a guest next door who decided he was going to have party and started playing music at midnight, gambling, slamming doors from midnight until 3:30 am. I had a canyoneering excursion the next day with a meeting time of 6 am, this lack of sleep did not make for a good stay. ( No I did not confront the person making the noise as safety is important to me, especially in a different country)

There was one nice lady that works in the afternoon. Poor customer service. D' Gecko Hotel it's super loud all day. During gets worse night it's terrible that place it's a Motel NOT a Hotel.

A lovely, quiet spot right at the heart of everything. You’ll encounter very friendly staff. A good value for money.

We loved this place, everyone was so nice and friendly. We stayed 6 days and everyone in the area really made us feel like family. The water was beautiful. They helped with the tours we wanted to take.

The property is clean and 'cute', the staff weren't helpful or fiendly though they did allow us to check in an hour and a half early. Also, you are required to remove your shoes when inside. They provide inside slippers but may be better to go barefoot than slip on the stairs with a sub par pair as I quickly learned.

I typically stay in higher end properties, but this is Moalboal- and I wanted to be close to the water in the heart of the action. Deluxe King room is beyond a super value! Staff is sooooo friendly and accommodating. I booked originally for 2 nights- and I have extended it now one night at a time- now here for the 6th night. For the area, there is nothing better and i would definitely recommend it here.
