โรงแรม JET

I paid more in Jet Hotel than in the new hotel in Manila Bay (which is setting up to be the biggest hotel in the country.) Yet, I am not very pleased with the stay. They are eco-friendly, yes. Because the room was so hot when we got in. The keycard was needed to activate the power source in the room. It took a while before the room got cooler. The fridge was unplugged though so good thing I checked. Because if I had just relied on the “Ref” switch, I would be disappointed that our drinks didn’t turn cold. We went to Jet for a staycation with the kids and of course the pool. We went up to the pool and it was nice to be alone but we also had to clear the leaves off the pool. There was nobody in there after some time and the kuya was very nice anyway. Jet hotel is nicely located so you have plenty of options for sining out and shopping. Disadvantage for their hotel restaurant. Anyways, so we went out to eat and then came back. As the kids were preparing for bed, one of my nephews saw the couch underneath the ac soaking wet from the water dripping from the ac. We called it and they eventually “resolved” it by placing towels and a bucket under the ac and replacing the couch with another. I wonder if my “foreigner” husband was with me if they had offered the same “resolution.” Because from hospitality POV, that is just unacceptable. Btw, that couch was built wrong. It wasn’t flat on the floor. So it kept of making this tripping sound as if it’s going to break. ….

Sheets were stained and dirty. Tables weren’t wiped. The floors also had stains.

Disappointing

The property was in proximity of key destinations. Room was ok. Shower head and shower drain could be improved. Stairwell is very dark, either place adequate lighting or close the door to the stairwell. Staff are accommodating. Limited breakfast option. Taste is meh.
