Wonderful hotel in the heart of Old Town Krakow. Friendly, effective staff, and very good amenities. Will definetly stay there again

Always my favorite place to stay in Krakow. Impeccable services, excellent rooms, unbelievable spa.

Absolutely amazing service, everything from the dining, to check-in to the use of the SPA area. I am already looking forward to visit it again.

This is a great hotel. The staff are so friendly and the housekeeping is excellent. The only thing is the drain in the bathroom cannot keep up with the water coming down from the shower. If you had your shower on, more than 10 seconds, the whole bathroom would have been flooded. The handheld is the only option.

The staff was unfortunately not very welcoming, lacking kindness and a smile. The apartment was fine, with a nice view of St. Mary’s Church, but there was a strange, unpleasant smell in the room. The real disaster was breakfast – flies on the cold cuts, dried-out cheese. This is an absolute scandal for a 5-star hotel. On top of that, there was complete chaos: the waitress insisted that breakfast was not included in the rate, although it obviously was – it had to be clarified at the reception desk. An even bigger issue occurred at check-in. Although the stay was fully prepaid, I could not check in without providing a credit card number, which was then entered into the hotel’s system. This was not a standard pre-authorization hold but permanent storage of card details. If I hadn’t had a credit card, I wouldn’t have been able to use an already paid stay. This is absolutely not the standard of a 5-star hotel. There are definitely better hotels in Krakow in this price range – with welcoming staff, pleasant rooms, and truly outstanding breakfasts. I do not recommend this place.

Leider gab es in der ersten Nacht laute Musik. Bei der Buchung wurden wir nicht darüber informiert, dass an diesem Tag eine laute Veranstaltung stattfindet.Wir haben in der ersten Nacht kaum geschlafen. Zwar haben wir ein anderes Zimmer bekommen, aber es war trotzdem nachts noch laut.

Spa was lovely .. great location for walking as near the square .. all in all a great hotel with character .. we had basic room but no complaints.

The spa was wonderful - amazing to decompress after a day of touring and exploring.

Perfect location within the pedestrianised area of Krakow Old Town, and just a few minute’s walk from the Main Square. Parking is available - valet service only, at an extra charge - but I recommend that you call ahead to get the drop-off address to input into your GPS, otherwise your GPS probably won’t let you enter the pedestrianised zone. The Pod Roza hotel is clean and comfortable, with modern fittings in an gorgeous old building. We sorted out our own breakfast so I can’t comment on the hotel’s offering. There are sauna and hot tub facilities in the basement - bring a swimsuit!

The spa was wonderful after a night of air-travel. And great massage in the spa the next day.

Flott hotell meget sentralt. Kort avstand til torget i gamlebyen (1min) hyggelig betjening og en flott spa avdeling med forskjellig vann massasje, damp badstu , badstu og massasje. Bodd på mange forskjellige hotell i Krakow og denne er på topp 3

Lovely hotel and exellent breakfast. However, rooms that face Florianska street are less desirable because of street noise (until 2-3:00 AM.)
