Casa dos Lóios by Shiadu

We enjoyed our stay in Porto and especially our hotel experience. The room was a little larger than a common European room. The bed was comfortable and the room had everything we needed. One of the best advantages was the location. While it's on a fairly touristy street, the street is closed to traffic and was a great thoroughfare to wander. Breakfast was good and so convenient. I would recommend the hotel to anyone staying in Porto.

Casa dos Loios is delightful. The location is right in the heart of things, easy to find your way around. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, with a lovely outside sitting area on which to eat. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, with good restaurant recommendations and help interpreting train schedules and directions. Would definitely stay here again should we be so lucky to visit Porto a second time!

We totally enjoyed our one night stay at your very unique hotel!! We were welcomed by Paula and Gabby!! Very helpful and Paula showed us the map with highlights marked for us. Gabby showed us around the premises and took our luggage to our room very fast!! Thank you girls. Also our hotel was a perfect location across the street from the train station we arrived. Breakfast was delicious including the coffee. Would highly recommend staying there Cathy and Arthur May 38-29-2026

Superior værelse som var super fedt. God plads. Lille minibar til egne drikkevarer😉 Skøn morgenmad. Fantastisk beliggenhed midt på gågaden. Tæt på alting. Vi spiste på 2 restauranter, som den flinke receptionist havde anbefalet. Super godt.

The main issue with this hotel is that it is not a 4 star hotel. It is a guest house, masquerading as a 4 star hotel, and charging 4 star prices. It needs to be checked. On MAPS.ME it is listed as a "guest house." As a guest house, it was very good, and the location is excellent.

The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. I made a last-minute change to the date of my arrival and they were very accommodating about it.

Excellent location very close to train statuon in ild town. Our upper floor had a nice view and balcony. Lovely breakfast.

Hotel is in an older building and had lots of charming features and was also updated so that our stay was wonderful. Location was great, staff was friendly and the included breakfast was delicious with lots of food options.

Hotel atypique avec de nombreux escaliers . Tres confortable, des attentions comme des boissons chaudes gratuites a toutes heures. Petit déjeuner tres complet au top. Et surtout tres bien situé en plein centre dans un quartier sympa. Un petit bémol sur le bruit de déchargements au sous sol tres tot le matin. A recommander

Habitacion agradable y hotel bien ubicado. Buen desayuno y buena atención. El unico punto es si llevas maletas pesadas en el segundo piso hay 2 partes donde las tienes que cargar para subir y bajar escalones .

When we first arrived, I was unsure about our hotel choice. The hotel was a little hard to find because it’s inside a very old building that is surrounded by other businesses and it has a very tiny sign on the door with the hotel name. The elevator is extremely tiny and claustrophobic, but Gabby was happy to bring up our luggage. If you want authentic, quaint, consistent with this very historical area, this is a good place to stay. The location couldn’t be better as far as walking distance to tons of shops and restaurants. It was a very different experience. Our room was the only one on that floor. It was big with a balcony facing the pedestrian street. The king bed was comfortable, the temp was good, and the shower had good water pressure. There isn’t much space to store clothing, but we made it work. There is also no conditioner in the shower. The staff was wonderful though and very friendly. Kudos! They had a nice breakfast buffet with a gourmet coffee machine, which many places don’t offer there. Overall, I ended up being happy with our choice.

Great location, but hotel definitely felt a bit tired. Breakfast lovely and staff very helpful.
