Superbe cadre pour une ou deux nuits. Petit déjeuner copieux. Il faut laisser couler l'eau un bon quart d'heure pour qu'elle devienne chaude...ou aimer les douches froides. Il n'y a pas de service de chambre. Les lits ne sont pas faits pendant le séjour et les serviettes ne sont pas changées.

The garden is so beautiful, it seems to come right out of a fairy tale. The combination of the walls of unknown age and the modern stylish facilities is almost as beautiful. It was truly a pleasure.

Propriétaire malhonnête. Encaissement effectué alors que nous n’y avons pas séjourné suite à une annulation de la réservation faite directement au propriétaire et sur le site concerné. Le règlement devait se faire sur place. Le site n’a rien encaissé mais le propriétaire s’en est bien chargé.

tres difficile à trouver, tres vieux (10min pour avoir de l'eau chaude et pas de reception wifi dans les chambres) mais tres beau jardin et tres bon petit dejeuner (servis à table)

Excellent location for walking the camino. So beautiful and quiet. The staff and owner were so kind and friendly. Use of washing machine 5euro per load. Dinner at 22euro was excellent and plentiful. Excellent included breakfast.

Jorge has created a beautifully walled garden retreat where immediately upon entry one feels invited to sit, breath deeply, and let go of what ever burden one has been carrying! Both literally and figuratively I lay down my heavy Camino de Santiago pilgrim’s backpack and a few of the worries still plaugeing my mind even on my fourth day on this contemplative journey. Arriving in a pouring rain, I was happily treated and given a tour and guidance on the facilities. I was enchanted by the cozy lovely country dinning room, the well appointed grounds and my fabulous room! Having a bit of bursitis in one hip and toe problems, just prior to my morning departure, Jorge recommended instead of hiking, then grabbing a bus, I take the train at Viana along the picturesque coast to Valenca, and from there walk the 2.8 kms to Tui where I could give my aching bones a nice rest for the 100 km trek to Santiago! And he offered to drive me to Viana...a ride I thoroughly enjoyed as we shared our philosophies about people and aspirations to making the world a better place! I loved the Barcelos leg of my journey so much that I offered that when I retire I would return to be a live-in manager of the facility!

Because i was traveling with my daughter and niece, we had the farm house all for us. It is a 2br 1bath. It is rustic but confortable for European standards. We had a great time exploring the Quinta and even walked part of the “Trails of S Tiago” for the property sits on it and frequently hosts pilgrims. Our stay included breakfast which as very good and the option of buying dinner. It was a great experience for us
