No geral gostámos bastante do hotel. Limpo, sossegado, com uma relação qualidade preço muito interessante e uma piscina fantástica com a água a excelente temperatura. Um único constrangimento teve que ver com a porta de correr que dá acesso do quarto à varanda. A porta não funcionava em condições, inclusivamente, nos últimos dois dias deixou de abrir. Assim que chegámos reportámos a questão na receção mas o funcionário, apesar de ter ido ao quarto, desvalorizou a situação. Apesar deste episódio, tencionamos voltar.

Positives: The rooms (in the 'chimney' wing of the main building) were excellent - spacious and well-maintained. The building has been well and sensitively converted. The swimming pool is great. The dinner menu was pretty good. (We didn't use the spa, but I am sure it is lovely.) Negatives: Too few staff - in the evening, just one person manning both the front desk and acting as waiter for dinner (same scenario at breakfast), and therefore completely rushed (still very polite and professional) The breakfast was pretty unappetising in choice and quality - furthermore, we were asked to select a slot, and when we arrived at the appointed time, a lot of the breakfast items had been finished already (including the fresh items). The overworked morning staff then rushed to replace them. Other observations: Walked into town a couple of hundred metres away, and be aware that a number of places listed on Google Maps had closed down, or the opening hours were wrong (especially in respect of which places close during the lunch hour, and which take bank cards, or cash only).

Front desk clerk not very friendly, she seemed that this was just a job. Didn't show any interest or informative. Check out was awful, the front desk clerk as also doing the breakfast clean up. Had to search for her to be able to check out. Ground could use a bit of TLC.

A lovely hotel in an interesting location. The grounds could be fantastic if time and effort was spent on their I provment.

Short Stay. Central, cost and confortable hotel. Strongly recomendo.

We got to the hotel early. The woman who was managing the front desk almost throw us out of the property as the check in time was at 3pm. Customary hotels offer to hold the luggage in storage we had to beg her to let us leave the luggage. When we dare to return to the hotel we found Octavio who was the check in clerk, bartender and restaurant server. He was very pleasant and accommodating. Expedia needs to note this hotel is in Portugal, no Spain.

Muy agradable y cómoda

O facto do quarto estar virado para a rua tornava-o pouco silencioso.

Reservamos um fim de semana neste hotel com o intuito de relaxarmos para recuperar energias. À chegada pedimos para utilizar o spa, mas isso não foi disponibilizado. Marcamos então para o dia seguinte. Percebemos mais tarde que éramos os únicos clientes no hotel. À noite chegou mais um casal. O hotel estava frio e o quarto também. Saímos para caminhar até às termas onde fizemos as respetivas marcações. No regresso, já noite, apanhamos um pouco de frio e estávamos ansiosos por um banho quente. Contudo, não havia água quente no quarto. Tentamos ligar para a receção, mas o telefone não funcionava. No dia seguinte reclamamos e asseguraram-nos que resolveriam a situação. O pequeno almoço buffet tinha o essencial, mas só havia iogurtes açucarados e os croissants eram do tipo Bimbo. Nesse dia fizemos termas e fomos dar uma volta. Como estávamos atrasados ligamos para o hotel para desmarcar o spa, mas disseram que teríamos pagar na mesma porque o spa já estava a aquecer. Decidimos, assim, fazê-lo. Surpreendentemente, o spa estava frio, pelo que não o aproveitamos. Este fica na cave ao fundo dum corredor de cerca de 20 metros que não estava aquecido e sem indicações. Tivemos que correr todos os corredores até encontrar o sítio. No checkout, após reclamação, fizeram um desconto de 50% num preço exorbitante de 20€ por pessoa/hora. Habitualmente ficamos em hotéis que inclui o spa no preço e nos poucos que cobram extra, custa 10€. Voltamos para o quarto que continuava s

Un lugar muy bonito tranquilo y en un emplazamiento único.

Optamos pelo charme de nos hospedarmos em um prédio de arquitetura histórica, mas os quartos ficam num anexo moderno, são amplos e muito bons, porém não em sequer uma garrafa de água! Decepciona não ter acesso a capela do Convento que é particular, o restaurante não é bom, o café da manhã é ruim, com suco de laranja azedo, staff reduzido que apesar da boa vontade deixa a desejar no atendimento. Não foi uma hospedagem memorável.

Un lugar precioso y tranquilo

Boa localização. Decoração do hotel destaca-se. Verificam-se algumas falhas ao nível da manutenção. Pequeno almoço razoável.

All the things we asked - the answer was “no”. The place itself is beautiful but not Maintenance well. There was a problem with the hot water in the room.
