Hotel do Chile

Functional! We had a very early flight so wanted a hotel close to the airport.

room is very small, old, no space to put my luggage, can't meet the 3-star standard, felt being cheated.

The front desk staff were very helpful at getting us out and to the airport at 2am, which was much appreciated.

It was a nice little hotel with friendly staff and clean ...so not a,bad word to say about it ..worth the money it cost

We had the worst hotel experience at this location. We arrived on March 31 with a reservation through Expedia for four nights, until Tuesday, April 4, and paid for the full 4 nights when we arrived. On Monday, April 3, we went out to tour the city as usual and returned to the hotel around 8:30 p.m. I went to the reception to ask for a document that I was expecting to receive. To our surprise, all our luggage, bags, and belongings were placed in the hotel reception. At first, it was confusing, but then a man at the reception named Ricardo told us that "they had an error in the reservation system," and that they only had three nights registered, so they took all our belongings out of our room! We were in shock. Some from the hotel (we assume) had entered our room during the day without our consent, took our belongings, clothes, toiletries, and personal items, and placed them in our suitcases or bags without authorization. We also lost some money. We called the police and reported what had happened in front of the guy at the front desk. The experience was embarrassing, and we had to leave the hotel with all our belongings in many bags, in a messy way, at 10:30 p.m. for another hotel in the city. Expedia only offered us compensation to pay for one night in another hotel. It was just awful. We did not receive any kind of compensation or apology from anyone in the hotel administration. I do not expect anyone to go through this humiliating, sad, and unfortunate experience.

Front staff was very friendly and located close to the center of the city.

La experiencia resultó incómoda, ya que Hotel no respetó la confirmación de 3 camas individuales. Alternativa que ofreció fue pasar una noche en otro hotel (Estrella de Arganil) que nos cobró 80 euros la noche. Al día siguiente volvimos a Hotel do Chile, el que sólo nos ofreció 2 habitaciones de 2 y 1 cama respectivamente. Toda esta situación nos costó el doble de lo que el Hotel do Chile nos había confirmado, esto es, habitación con 3 camas por 3 noches a 185 euros y por la situación planteada pagamos en total 80 euros la primera noche y 280 euros las siguientes 2 noches. Total: 360 euros. Recomiendo no confiar en lo que el Hotel confirma. No es de fiar en esa situación.

El hotel está muy limpio (es su principal punto a favor) pero las instalaciones son muy viejas y no todo está bien cuidado. No está en la zona céntrica y turística, pero tiene buenas conexiones en transporte público. En cuanto a la atención del personal, la llegada fue decepcionante en todos los sentidos: la primera impresión es de hotel de otra época y anunciaban que tenían aparcamiento de pago pero al preguntar nos dijeron que estaba lleno. Si es necesario reservarlo, deberían dejarlo claro, pues cogimos ese hotel en gran medida por ese motivo. Además, lo peor fue la actitud de la recepcionista, que no nos ofreció ninguna alternativa y, al preguntarle por otros aparcamientos en la zona, respondió vagamente como si no fuese con ella a pesar de nuestro enfado evidente.

This was an overall good hotel stay. Positives: helpful staff, really great wifi, lots of channels on the TV, comfortable bed, clean towels, great and quiet neighborhood near public transport options & lots of local stores and affordable cafes for breakfast. Negative: It could have been a little cleaner. Overall the main surfaces were clean, but it was a little dusty. Also, the room was just a bit small.

Hotel pequeño pero en buenas condiciones, las habitaciones mejor de lo que esperaba. En recepción muy agradables y hotel muy bien situado de la parada de metro, a 1 minuto.

We were given a room with a very small window that just looked out onto an air well that was only about 6ft square. We had to have the light on the whole time we were in the room. On the last but one night the room stunk when we got back in the early evening and I went and complained. We were given the key to another room but no help with moving or apology. We were also very disappointed with the room and the quality of the breakfast for the price and opted to go to the bakery close by even though we had paid.

I stayed in there for 1 week with my baby girl and the staff was amazing! Always helping me with the stroller, or with another requests that I made! I just wished for more option in the breakfast… Other than that was perfect. If I go back to Portugal I will stay again in Hotel do Chile for sure!

Hotel simples e bom. Ficamos num quarto triplo. Um pouco apertado, mas no geral limpinho. Serviços básicos de um hotel. Café da manhã simples mas bom. Recomendo

Buen hotel, centrico, con avenidas importantes cerca y transporte en la esquina, estacionamiento y desayuno buffet incluido.

Olha , o hotel é muito bem localizado , próximo de metrô , mercado , restaurantes etc… o quarto com duas camas ok , Tv com vários canais . A equipe é prestativa , só o café da manhã que é bem simples , só com o básico . E também achei o estacionamento que embora seja propriedade do hotel é bem caro 15 Euros .

Boa acomodação, boa localização , funcionários educados e atenciosos.

Es un hotel pequeño y el trato es muy cercano y familiar. Los trabajadores son muy amables y muy profesionales.

Vanha uudistettu hotelli. Varaustetaso on hyvä, aamiainen kunnollinen (kuten Etelä-Euroopassa yleisesti, vähän tuoreita vihanneksia, paljon makeita leivonnaisia). Sijainti on hyvä (tärkeimmät turistialueet alle 3 km etelään, lentokenttä 5 km pohjoiseen), metroasema lähellä. Näkymä ikkunasta oli sisäpihalle. Hotellihuone oli pinta-alaltaan pieni ja kaksoisvuode kapea. Hyvin siistiä, pyyhkeet vaihdettiin päivittäin.
