This was our second time staying there. The location is terrific, the grounds are nice and the view is stunning. Great place to stay with family and/or friends.

Everyone was very helpful and accommodating. The island was beautiful and the history deep and intriguing. Definitely visit and be well taken care of.

The bed was very uncomfortable, very hard. Staff didn’t provide any information upon check in. Breakfast options very basic. I expected better. Beautiful pool area and gorgeous view. Walkable to downtown.

An outdated hotel in a nice location. Old, run down mediocre hotel. There is nothing to like about this place apart from the location. Would never stay here again!

Excellent hotel

This property is beautiful and perfect for families. The ONLY issue is mattresses on beds. Not very comfortable which is surprising considering reputation of Bemsaude Hotels. Has a large pool and pool bar. It also has indoor pool and hot tub, along with a gym. Breakfast buffet is ok. Dining at bar/restaurant is good. Walking distance to town to all shops and dining options. Again, this is perfect for families and large groups.

Full accommodations without the stuffiness. Seems to be an older hotel outside its prime but aged well. Wonderful pool and grounds and an easy walk to town - best and quickest along the water path. Would recommend to all my family and friends.

Overall very nice. It's a shame that there are no hot drink facilities in the room, i.e. no kettle or coffee machine, and the water was not replaced so we had no drinks provided in room. The buffet dinner had no vegetarian option. The marble spiral staircase was a bit of a hazard as it was easy to slip and hurt yourself. The staff overall were very keen to help and friendly.

Great location, beautiful view of the historic fort and sheltered cove. Buffet breakfast was wonderful, and staff were very friendly.

Gorgeous infinity pool, appreciated the upgrade, wine and cheese, relaxing view, kind professional staff, beautiful setting for restaurant meal.

I loved the area and hotel and workers but there was one maybe 2 problems. I Stayed in room 125 on ground floor and room was infested by Flying Ants. After one night killing themi complained and they sent a maid to poison the room. Safe poison they said. But more flying ants showed up and we slept another night with bugs and killing bugs. Finally on night 3 i demanded a new room and they happily gave us one. So that experience was unpleaseant. Maybe its a first floor thing. Def room 125 and Yes we kept varanda door closed and they still got in. 2- the outside pool is beautiful but while swimming i noticed the bottom is dirty Possibly from pigeon poop. The pool is highly used by ducks and pigeons and hotel needs to clean it more often. Other than that hotel was great. I dont want to discourage you to stay herethe general experience was great. And the place has free parking and breakfast and great location and nice staff. The room we moved to on 4th floor had no issues. Beware tho of room 125.

Overall, I had a great stay at this hotel. The room was clean. The staff were very, very, friendly and helpful. While the hotel room was very clean, the bathrooms are quite outdated. I would recommend some remodeling at some point as it appears that the actual bedrooms may have been remodeled but the bathrooms are still outdated.

Great views of the sea an mt Brazil. Walking distance to beautiful Angra do Heroísmo city center

Fantastic location. Was remarkably quiet when I was there in late May. Comfortable room with great views from balcony. Friendly reception team. Food very good. Bar staff were fine, but seemed to lack confidence, especially when not speaking on their own language.
