I tried to cancel my reservation and they hang out on the phone

When I left I forgot my AirPods on my bed. So far it’s all my fault. However, this is where it gets bad on Santurcia’s side. When I realized I didn’t have my AirPods, I tried to reach someone at the property. After many attempts and a few “I’m not there but I will ask”, somebody told me that the person in charge of setting up the room found my Pods. Instead of reaching me (they had my number, email, copy of passport; and rooms and beds are pre-assigned), they just left the Pods in a random spot until someone took them. I finally talked to the hostel’s owner. Her answer: “It isn’t our problem” Stay away from this place. They only care about your money

Wonderful location

Prime location. Walking distance from everything.

Walking distance to food was good

Had a hard time finding the property with google maps, as it’s kinda hidden with just a blank green door with a door bell camera. 10min walk from the beach and great restaurants and bars, overall very good, not disappointed, at night there is lots of honking and you can hear everything. You can even hear a conversation from the ground to the second floor where the rooms are.

Esta bonito decorado pero deben mejor limpieza en el cuarto pero en mi opinión no se paga mucho para lo que es.

Great value

The hostel is good and very close to the airport but the owner puts strict rules but when it comes to delivering what the hostel promises, then its a whole different story! -I had no WiFi during my stay and texted him; he texted back but never solved the issue or followed up on me. -I was cold and requested another blanket they said there was a $5 charge WTH -the bed only have a fitted sheet and they do not provide a top sheet like any normal place. - I asked if I could check out and take a quick shower before heading to the airport in the afternoon, he replied it would cost me $20. - I haven’t seen any real employee there. Only Erica that’s a volunteer- and she was really nice. - bathroom wasn’t cleaned while I stayed there and someone 💩💩💩 and never flushed so I had to get clorox and disinfect the girls bathroom myself. - after 4pm is a self check in process I will be coming back to Puerto Rico but definitely staying somewhere else that I feel more comfortable and taken care of. $55 a night is double the price I usually pay for shared rooms in a hostel. I do not recommend renting a car if you are staying in old San Juan. It’s impossible to find parking and the traffic jam is baaad

I had to leave as soon as I entered the building. Girls room very dirty. The employee tried to scammed me, she tried to charge me with $47 saying Expedia payment didn’t went thru. The Expedia $ goes to the owner and they wanted $47 for themselves.

Had AC, convenient location with restaurants nearby, lockers, showers, and nice common rooms and terrace!

Lovely facilities and friendly people Would only suggest more clear instructions for self checkout!

I was supposed to stay here for 4 days but ended up leaving after the first night. The room was so cold that I began to get sick. And there is no curtain for the beds for shared room which was odd. The space was clean but getting in contact with staff was extremely hard (at least for me). I had to keep calling and texting/emailing to get late check in details. I’m sure the area was good but I didn’t stay long enough to explore the neighborhood.

I did not get a walk around to know the place better and to know where everything was. I felt loose the first day. For the top bed, the AC was not cold enough. It was sweating every night. I did mention it, but nothing was done. The key to my room was not working right, and the one for the luck didn’t work. Even when I mentioned it, they said nothing about it. The top bed is unsafe; the top latter is missing the plastic covers on the top of the leather, which is dangerous.

Limited privacy

Early in the morning I think it was 6:00 in the morning somebody was doing construction right next door that's not cool

The staff were nice, the place is pretty and really clean, the bunks are comfortable and provide some privacy, the terrace is very spacious and has a nice view. I would recommend, my favorite stay so far.

Had a great time. Met lots of interesting fun people. Felt completely safe and everything was neat a clean. Felt like home away from home. Definitely going back
