Hotel Metamorphis

Vi var riktigt nöjda med hotellet. Centralt beläget, mitt i gamla staden.

Perfectly located in the heart of Old Town, steps away from Old Town Square. Friendly staff, especially Ella, she was very accommodating during my check-in process. The room itself was basic and no frills - all was given was hand soap and combo shampoo & body wash.

We were very happy with our stay at the Metamorphis. The cleanliness and amenities were not quite in 5 star range, but the character and location of the Metamorphis made up for it. Cons: We arrived after 11pm so a key with directions to our room was left for us. It was a little unclear where we were to go, so it felt a bit like a reverse escape room experience for us, but that may have been partly due to our travel exhaustion! The room we reserved was to have 3 twin beds, but two sets of twins were pushed together and made up as 2 kings. We were too tired on arrival to care, but 3 twins should mean 3 twins. I always judge hotels by the cleanliness of the shower grout, and theirs was not a 5, but it is an old place. Note that the products provided are a combined soap/shampoo (no conditioner) and hand soap (no lotion). There was a hairdryer. There was a fair amount of street noise, but that comes with the location. Note that the "available" breakfast is actually in another hotel. The receptionist was kind enough to point us to other options. Pros: Location, location location! This place had tons of character, the high ceilings, chandeliers, regal hall staircase and doors felt just right for Prague! We took advantage of the beer spa, which I was afraid may be touristy and weird, but we truly enjoyed it. I hope this honest review is useful. I would recommend the Metamorphis and would stay here again!

Hotell med välutrustade rum i charmig äldre byggnad. Utmärk läge mittemellan tunnelbanestationen Náměstí Republiky och Gamla stadens torg. Enda minuset var att hiss saknades.

Clean and spacious room

The room was big and clean and amazing terrace view. The entrance was a bit messy and not clean with construction residuals.

Balcony view was wonderful. Only problem was dragging a heavy suitcase up (and down) long flights of stairs to and from the fourth floor. Had we known, we each would have brought a small suitcase instead of combining our belongings into one.

Historic hotel in great location. Wonderful staff. Clean rooms but no lift.

The room was great, very big compared to a typical hotel room. This place was perfect for my trip because I wanted to be close enough to walk to the main tourist areas but I also wanted quiet. It’s perfectly located away from noise but still very close walking distance to the square, shops, restaurants, etc. I was pleasantly surprised because the price was amazing for what you get for the rate. Definitely will return here next time I come to Prague.

Great quiet location in the heart of Old Town Prague. It's not the newest hotel, but for the price, the convenience and room size were unbeatable.

Nice area and good hotel

This is classy place with a great staff..and less than 5 min from old town square…and a bargain too…a can’t miss experience

The staff were lovely, the room was spotless. Unusually for breakfast, you had to leave the hotel and walk around the corner to have breakfast in a partner hotel. Only negative was the mugs provided were just for small cups of coffee, and reception had nothing larger, I bought a tea in Starbucks then kept that cup for my morning cuppa.

Room was very spacious and comfortable, with lovely big windows and a comfy bed. Staff were professional and helpful at all times, and were happy to store luggage for us after check-out, as our flights weren't until the evening. The location is perfect - close to historic sites and public transport, we felt right in the middle of things. Plenty of great food options nearby too!

Hotelli sijaitsi keskellä vanhaa kaupunkia, kävelymatkan päässä moniin nähtävyyksiin ja ravintoloihin. Lähin raitiovaunupysäkki ei ollut ihan lähellä, joten esim. Prahan linnaan piti ottaa taksi. Loppujen lopuksi olimme tyytyväisiä hotellivalintaamme huolimatta joistakin puutteista. Palvelu oli erittäin ystävällistä ja huomaavaista. Jopa syntymäpäiväni huomioitiin kuohuviinitervehdyksellä.

Excelente ubicación, muy cerca del Centro y con entradas por diferentes calles.
