โรงแรม Elizeu

The hotel location was great, close to the metro and Gara de Nord train station. The hotel was a bit worn out, but the staff were friendly and took the time to give tips on getting around the area. The hotel room was really clean. The surroundings were a bit dirty, which is understandable given the big city. The breakfast was ok, but a bit limited for a multi-day stay. I was traveling alone, and I felt the area was relatively safe to move around in the evening.

The rooms at this hotel are clean and spacious. The staff was nice (and there's a cat that lives at the hotel who likes to ride the elevator!). The breakfast was solid. The hotel is extremely close (about 2-3 minutes walk) to Bucharest Gard du Nord, so very convient for trains. It's also about 5 minutes from a metro stop.

Hotel was pleasant but staff made us feel unwelcome and a burden. There was a you football team staying who were running up and down corridors and partying into the night. We did not complain but still got lots of sighs from staff. The only time we got a smile was on leaving

Ett hotell till bra pris och trevlig personal. AC på rummet som inte kunde justeras på rummet, fungerade oftast men inte på morgonen. Frukost med litet utbud men det fanns det som brukar finnas på hotell. Närhet till buss, tåg och tunnelbana.

Hotel in nicht gutem Zustand. Trotz Verzeichnis hier keine Parkplätze auf dem Gelände vorhanden. Klimaanlage nur ein Luftumwaelzer ohne ausreichende Kuehlfunktion. Frühstück von der Auswahl ok aber eine Müll und Plastikschlacht…

Falta de aseo. Proporcionan toallas de mano para el cuerpo. No cambian las toallas. No limpian la habitación. Mal olor en el baño por poseer instaciones sanitarias improvisadas. No recomendadas.

The hotel is near central train station and the city center is around 8 minutes by car. The rooms are old but very warm. Reception personnel was friendly. Good option if you don’t have much budget.

They gave us a room on the top floor, an infernal heat and the air conditioning did not work. The worst beds in many hotels I've seen, they creaked at any movement. Extraordinary, I didn't sleep at all. Because of the heat, we slept with the windows open and mosquitoes ate us. The TV programs don't work, they say they are coded.

Clean and quiet. I used to stay overnight at hotels in downtown Bucharest when I had to arrive or depart from Otopeni and next day to take a Uber to board trains in Gara de Nord. But in late March I stayed one night in Elizeu when I my plane arrived with delayed and I was surprised to see that it offers services at pair or even better in some respect to the ones offered by hotels located in city center. I stayed again one night in the first week of April when I departed Romania and the experience was realy good.

Quiet

Surprisingly reception wanted to charge me the already paid fee again as I had arrived after midnight, despite me calling them on the day letting them know my flight would arrive at 11:30pm so I reckoned I’d arrive to the hotel just after midnight- the last conversation you want to have after a long flight... the room was semi clean and with a foul smell of cigarettes...I was happy to leave early in the morning

Chose this as it's really close to the train station. The place is really basic...its lacking AC ....would have really appreciated this with 35 degree heat... Suggest not to hang around late around the Neighborhood as its pretty creepy...

Several times I have stayed at this hotel because of its proximity to Gara de Nord and because of its reasonable rate. In my opinion, the hotel has never had effective air conditioning. However, this time, due to the excessive outside temperature, the room temperature was borderline unbearable. This, combined with a nonfunctional TV, made the one night stay not very pleasant.

Horible smell in the room, no working frezeer, i never come in back

The breakfast was ok. Nothing special, but it was nice to have. The breakfast and that the hotel was clean were the positives. Parking was a little bit of a challenge and not very secure. There was no WiFi as advertised. Only in the lobby so had to be at or just outside the window to catch it. This is a 2 star hotel at best. Not a 3 star they say they are.

The place is next to the Main station, which is really nice, however, the breakfast was very limited and they don’t even have a toaster to toast the bread so the breakfast served cold except for the boiled eggs. The room I booked was a queen size bed, however, when I checked in, the receptionist gave me a triple single bed which I demanded to change to a queen size. The bathroom in the Queen size bedroom, however, was so small and even the shower room was a similar to a shower room in a hostel. The water pouring on the shower head was weak and it was really annoying when we had a shower. The receptionist when I checked in and the receptionist when I checked out kept asking me to pay for the room, even though I already paid the day I booked my accommodation in October. It seemed they didn’t have the gal to check if their customers paid or not. They’re not very helpful as well as when we asked for direction to the city centre, they didn’t help us and even on how to get to the airport either by public transportation or by Uber, they did say “I don’t know”! I wouldn’t recommend anybody to stay in this hotel. It is very pricey and yet the service is bloody awful!
