We had an exceptional experience with this hotel. Their service was outstanding. Our travel companions had their flight changed and they didn't arrive until 4 AM. The staff was there to greet them and get them settled in their room. The breakfast was very good as was the restaurant. t is also situated in the heart of Brasov.

The hotel is very well located right in the historic square and the building itself is a historical one renovated with care and quality materials. The rooms have everything you need. The only complaint is there is a very bad sewage smell coming from the bathrooms (tried to switch rooms and it had the same issue) which makes it very uncomfortable and unpleasant for a hotel of such prestige. They tried a quick fix pouring water, but it didn't do anything, serious maintenance is needed.

Interesting 400-year-old building, comfortable and well located. I loved the skylights in my attic room, especially since it was a full moon. The restaurant had good wine and ghoulash. Breakfast wasn’t great though. Could walk everywhere in Old Town easily from here. My only complaint is that the Wi-Fi connection was pretty bad, especially in the evenings.

The hotel is very central but on a super noisy street. Lack of parking is a major issue. Room was old fashioned and a bit worn, but the bathroom was large, new and clean. Service and staff kindness were average. Breakfast was horrible - cheap industrial produce, even the “orange juice” was made with artificial powders and zero actual orange. Since 1 liter of 100% orange juice from concentrate costs about 0.7€ in Romania there is no justification for this.

Great situation, old well maintained hotel BUT - Standard rooms are very basic. Ours was overlooking a .. wall just 2/3 meters from the windows, with full noise of air conditioning machines installed outside. There are long corridors of those rooms fronting a wall - Breakfast is varied but made of cheap ingredients. Typically orange juice is fake, probably made of powder with water. Fruit salad is out of can, etc Nit a good experience. The only interest is that is central but I am sure there are better options

This hotel is a gem! We had the junior suite and it was remarkable. Staff was very friendly, breakfast was an excellent buffet style with timed seating, which I like. Location is perfect to the main plaza. The restaurant was excellent also. We had a few small issues with the room when we checked in, but the staff quickly(within 15 minutes) remedied the issues. Our room faced the main plaza and road, but the quality of the windows kept things quiet when closed. The staff was engaged and helpful with direction for Covid testing which was very helpful. Very pleased!

Beautiful, historic hotel steps away from Piața Sfatului. The service was fantastic and the breakfast was delicious and included traditional Western breakfast items as well as Romanian specialties such as zacuscă. My only complaint was that the basic double room was very small to the point where we had trouble opening our suitcases, but I enjoyed everything else about the hotel so much that I would happily stay here again in one of their larger room offerings.

The hotel is very central but on a super noisy street. Lack of parking is a major issue. Room was old fashioned and a bit worn, but the bathroom was large, new and clean. Service and staff kindness were average. Breakfast was horrible - cheap industrial produce, even the “orange juice” was made with artificial powders and zero actual orange. Since 1 liter of 100% orange juice from concentrate costs about 0.7€ in Romania there is no justification for this.

Great situation, old well maintained hotel BUT - Standard rooms are very basic. Ours was overlooking a .. wall just 2/3 meters from the windows, with full noise of air conditioning machines installed outside. There are long corridors of those rooms fronting a wall - Breakfast is varied but made of cheap ingredients. Typically orange juice is fake, probably made of powder with water. Fruit salad is out of can, etc Nit a good experience. The only interest is that is central but I am sure there are better options

Wonderful old building, friendly staff, right across from the main square and church. Parking is a small walk around the block and in some tight spots, but that's just Romania.

This hotel is a gem! We had the junior suite and it was remarkable. Staff was very friendly, breakfast was an excellent buffet style with timed seating, which I like. Location is perfect to the main plaza. The restaurant was excellent also. We had a few small issues with the room when we checked in, but the staff quickly(within 15 minutes) remedied the issues. Our room faced the main plaza and road, but the quality of the windows kept things quiet when closed. The staff was engaged and helpful with direction for Covid testing which was very helpful. Very pleased!

Beautiful, historic hotel steps away from Piața Sfatului. The service was fantastic and the breakfast was delicious and included traditional Western breakfast items as well as Romanian specialties such as zacuscă. My only complaint was that the basic double room was very small to the point where we had trouble opening our suitcases, but I enjoyed everything else about the hotel so much that I would happily stay here again in one of their larger room offerings.
