Food was amazing Staff helpful and obliging. Room a bit small and dated but surroundings beautiful. Didn’t detract from our stay.

Das Personal ist extrem freundlich und zuvorkommend! Wir haben und als Familie mit zwei Kleinkindern sehr willkommen gefühlt! Es hat auf dem Gelände ein paar freie Kaninchen, an welchen unsere Tochter sehr Freude hatte! Das Essen ist ein Traum! Vor allem das Dinner war so gut, dass wir jeden Abend dort gegessen hatten. Wir können das Hotel nur weiterempfehlen!

Beautiful renovated hotel in the Highlands, with lovely dining and breakfast. We enjoyed the stay. There are walking paths around the hotel and hiking trails all over the local area.

This is a great hotel run on traditional values. Nothing is too much trouble. Dinner and breakfast were top quality.

The most wonderful stay of our 3 week visit to England, Scotland and Ireland! The owners (they work there everyday) are delightful people, warm and gracious! They have been on a 20 year mission to lovingly upgrade the Grand Dame of Scotland and are succeeding! The Coul House is THE best value for what you get in return. The gardens are lovely, the Fairy Trails delightful, the food, drinks and service spectacular! Our room was well appointed, clean and thoughtfully decorated The Highlands of Scotland are not to be missed! Inverness is a wonderful town just 20 minutes away. We love the Coul House and look forward to our return! Bravo!

A lovely building with excellent rooms, beautiful grounds and excellent surroundings. The food was lovely and staff are exceptional.

Excellent faultless service and amazing food. Nothing too much trouble. Reasonable price for top class hotel. Beautiful grounds to walk in and not far from the east coast, Black Isle and Beauly where we wanted to visit. Definitely will return.

We had a fabulous time. The hotel is utterly charming, a beautifully restored Victorian Country House. The owners and staff were outstanding in their friendliness and service. The food was just amazing!

The owners were super friendly and helpful, the building and grounds were amazing, and the location was perfect. 10/10 would stay here again.

This hotel is just perfect if you want a quality, understated, comfortable and quite break. Lovely grounds, staff get the balance of being friendly but not intrusive just right. Dogs are made welcome everywhere except the main dining room. Service top notch (nice to go somewhere these days where there are enough staff). Rooms are comfortable and crisp white sheets and the most comfortable beds made me feel like I was floating on a cloud! We had dinner in the dining room each night and the food was delicious. Strathpeffer is a lovely walk away or a few minutes by car and is well worth exploring. Dingwall is the nearest place with more high street names, Tesco, Lidl etc as well as some lovely independent shops on the high street. Loved my stay and will return anytime I visit the highlands.

Beautiful property with outdoor activities, bar and restaurant. Staff bent over backwards to help us set up recreational activities outside of the property.

A most relaxing and friendly hotel

The evening rabbits in the back lawn, together with the majestic trees on the property are alone with the grade!

The grounds were beautiful! The staff was very accommodating and nice. I had an ice pack I needed frozen for Medication and they did this no questions asked. They were all very kind and were always smiling! We will definitely be back!

Coul House is an exceptional choice for a relaxing stay, with the accessibility to Highlands! We were able to visit the Isle of Skye and several other great attractions. The breakfast has delicious choices and dinner is an excellent fine-dining option. The gardens are very well maintained and add to the beauty of the villa.
