Fantastic stay, best breakfast we have had anywhere and super friendly and helpful staff. This hotel was our second choice ( other one was fully booked) but we are so pleased we came here. Thanks to all the staff who made our stay so welcoming.

Shame the pool doesn't open to 4pm, so no morning swim.

in the main a great place to stay, just one thing the hotel does not cope when it is hot. my room had a fan that was totally useless and when asked if there was a replacement i was advised no. you cannot open the window it was like a furnace 24/7 I stayed for two nights and under those conditions wouldn't do that again.

We found the room stifling hot and the air condition was not working very well. The staff were attentive and the meals were good but nothing matters that much when you can't get a good night's sleep

A/C didn’t work, room smelled strongly of cigarette (I was pregnant and so nauseous), tried to have a bath but the water ran brown. They advertised that if you didn’t need room service, that they’d offer you a drink downstairs at the bar (we just wanted a pop), but they wouldn’t offer it - whatever terms and conditions are not transparent. Very loud hallways. Decent location though. Told staff I was displeased and showed them a video of the water, they said that’s too bad and really don’t care. So yeah, not coming back here anytime soon.

This used to be a lovely hotel. When I arrived I was checked in quickly and went to my room which was roasting. The window didn’t open, and the aircon was reading 27.4C, (It was 16C outside!) but wouldn’t switch on. I called reception who said the hotel aircon had been deactivated but thankfully did offer an alternative room. The new room had a window that opened a fraction and a fan, which did cool the room during the afternoon. However the night was unbearably hot, even with the fan on full.
Leisure facilities were nice enough but everything very basic with no frills or attention to detail. It didn’t really live up to the hotels.com description.
Lovely helpful staff, but hotel needing some upkeep & TLC.

Was warmly welcomed and introduced to the services available ie, orientated to breakfast, dining room bar and spa area.The bedroom was clean, bright and comfortable beds although quite warm during the night bathroom ckean great shower and was pleased to see a grabrail. Staff ordered a taxi for us on Sunday morning so we.coyld meet outlr coach on yime for our day trip the whole weekend was.fabulous and i'd have no hesitation yo staying at the Argyle Hotel again

Staff were very friendly and helpful, hotel was lovely and clean. We had dinner and breakfast, both of which were lovely. Plenty options on main menu and children’s.
Beds were comfy, lots of space in the room.
We did find the pool a bit cramped as two lanes were closed for lessons.
Short walk and your at the shops, train station and bus stops nearby too.

This hotel is a mixed bag:
The pool and spa area was really nice and well maintained. We used it every morning. We didn't use the gym, but it also looked well equipped for a hotel.
But our standard room was definitely not worth the price we paid. While spacious and clean, it had super old furniture, the desk surface was sticky from its age and the door in the bathroom was falling apart at the bottom.

The hotel had a computer glitch on arrival, which meant the check in queue was a bit long. However the staff kept us informed about what was going and were quick to get the issue sorted out. The room was clean and comfortable but the decor was a little tired. We were attending the Glasgow Summer Nights at Bellahousten Park and we were able to walk to and from the venue. It's also good for the Hydro and NEC and we would stay here again if attending events at those venues (which we do every year). All in all a good hotel if visiting Glasgow and you don't want to stay right in the centre.

A/C didn’t work, room smelled strongly of cigarette (I was pregnant and so nauseous), tried to have a bath but the water ran brown. They advertised that if you didn’t need room service, that they’d offer you a drink downstairs at the bar (we just wanted a pop), but they wouldn’t offer it - whatever terms and conditions are not transparent. Very loud hallways. Decent location though. Told staff I was displeased and showed them a video of the water, they said that’s too bad and really don’t care. So yeah, not coming back here anytime soon.

This used to be a lovely hotel. When I arrived I was checked in quickly and went to my room which was roasting. The window didn’t open, and the aircon was reading 27.4C, (It was 16C outside!) but wouldn’t switch on. I called reception who said the hotel aircon had been deactivated but thankfully did offer an alternative room. The new room had a window that opened a fraction and a fan, which did cool the room during the afternoon. However the night was unbearably hot, even with the fan on full.
Leisure facilities were nice enough but everything very basic with no frills or attention to detail. It didn’t really live up to the hotels.com description.
Lovely helpful staff, but hotel needing some upkeep & TLC.

Was warmly welcomed and introduced to the services available ie, orientated to breakfast, dining room bar and spa area.The bedroom was clean, bright and comfortable beds although quite warm during the night bathroom ckean great shower and was pleased to see a grabrail. Staff ordered a taxi for us on Sunday morning so we.coyld meet outlr coach on yime for our day trip the whole weekend was.fabulous and i'd have no hesitation yo staying at the Argyle Hotel again

Staff were very friendly and helpful, hotel was lovely and clean. We had dinner and breakfast, both of which were lovely. Plenty options on main menu and children’s.
Beds were comfy, lots of space in the room.
We did find the pool a bit cramped as two lanes were closed for lessons.
Short walk and your at the shops, train station and bus stops nearby too.

This hotel is a mixed bag:
The pool and spa area was really nice and well maintained. We used it every morning. We didn't use the gym, but it also looked well equipped for a hotel.
But our standard room was definitely not worth the price we paid. While spacious and clean, it had super old furniture, the desk surface was sticky from its age and the door in the bathroom was falling apart at the bottom.

The hotel had a computer glitch on arrival, which meant the check in queue was a bit long. However the staff kept us informed about what was going and were quick to get the issue sorted out. The room was clean and comfortable but the decor was a little tired. We were attending the Glasgow Summer Nights at Bellahousten Park and we were able to walk to and from the venue. It's also good for the Hydro and NEC and we would stay here again if attending events at those venues (which we do every year). All in all a good hotel if visiting Glasgow and you don't want to stay right in the centre.
