This hotel is in a beautiful yet convenient location, if driving, just off the main road to/from Glencoe. It was peaceful with a stunning outlook, which you get the full view of from the restaurant. We had the family room, which was spacious but didn’t have the benefit of the good view. The room was lovely but the shower was not hot so we were given a key to another room to use the electric shower there. The shower was a mains sourced one and the boiler had just been serviced so hadn’t heated the tank up by the time we needed the shower on arrival. The room was warm and comfortable otherwise. We ate here and the food was excellent. The breakfast was very good too with the beautiful view an added bonus. Highly recommend this lovely hotel.

This is a charming spot on the water with nice views. It's a bit old and worn (though I hear they're getting ready to do a full update), and the bathroom was the smallest I'd seen in a long time with a heating system I didn't attempt to use for a shower (in fairness, I was in one of the smaller style rooms they offered). That said, the folks who work in the dining area are lovely and the food was very good - best mussels I've ever had! Definitely recommend stopping in for a meal.

What truly made our Scotland trip was the gin tour. The owner gave us the tour and shared his passion for Gin. Never liked Gin till I came here! The hotel was old and the room was very small but it served it purpose. Be sure to book dinner as dining options are scarce in the area and it’s a bit of a drive. The food was good and the quaint bar that they had was outstanding. The bartender knew his craft and suggested drinks that suited our tastes and was very cozy with the fireplace lit.

Very helpful and cheerful staff.We booked the "tiny double" by mistake but the gentleman on reception solved the problem with a smile.

Leider muss ich mich den anderen Bewertungen überwiegend anschließen. Wir haben 200 € für ein Doppelzimmer bezahlt. Die Lage ist toll - der Blick aus dem Zimmer phantastisch, aber die Räumlichkeiten müssten dringend auf einen neueren Stand gebracht werden. Man muss allerdings sagen, dass es trotzdem sauber war.
Der Service bei Abendessen und Frühstück war freundlich, das Abendessen tatsächlich qualitativ auch sehr gut. Das Frühstück (bei uns inkludiert) war sehr basic, aber völlig ausreichend.

Stort og deilig rom, med god varme og gode luftemuligheter. Deilig med badekar. God frokost. De ansatte var utrolig flinke, vi ble møtt utrolig godt både i reseption, restaurant og bar, særlig god ekspertise var det i baren. Vi smakte masse godt, og tok med oss et par juleflasker med gin hjem av den grunn.
