SOUTHPARK HOUSE

Southpark House is a well run guest house in a fabulous location. The owners are very welcoming and friendly. The guest house is well maintained and extremely clean. Breakfast is out of this world, freshly cooked and a fantastic selection to choose from. The bedroom was immaculate, the bed was so comfortable and the en-suite was pristine. An absolute joy to stay there. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to stay in Dumfries and the surrounding areas.

Lovely location but not far from centre of Dumfries. Breakfast was excellent.

Stayed at the Southpark House for one day while visiting Dumfries. The property is conveniently located approximately 5-10 min drive from the center (depending on traffic). We found it to be very comfortable and convenient. The rooms are fairly sizable with great quality bathrooms. Our bed was very comfortable and the quality of linens was very high. Rooms overlooking the rolling hills have a wonderful view of the valley. In the morning we were treated to a full Scottish breakfast which was delicious. The owner Evan was the most accommodating throughout the stay. An extra added benefit at the Southpark is access to a “kitchen” where guests can “tinker” with their purchased food items and also do their laundry. Overall, it was a wonderful stay. Thank you, Evan.
